I dont believe in special retail occasiondays to celebrate the love I have for SO. Its cheesy, expected and little bit insulting... I like sending things thats going to embarrass or make you wonder what the hell is this for? Like sending a spatulas with a note, its time you learn how this is used... then have a intimate home date cooking dinner together with very little on, and using the spatulas to spank her ass... If she sent flowers, id accept them, since its not normal I would assume Im the fucking shit to her.

I wouldn't be suspicious in the "usual" sense. My SO knows I think paying $50 or more for flowers is a waste of money, and she's never done it. If she did, I'd wonder if she was getting senile at a young age! We're in an open relationship, so there's no possibility of cheating. LOL

Yes, i dont like having people giving me gifts. I appreciate it and the sentiment behind it but it feels awkward. Its more pleasant having a day planned or a hug. I rather be the one giving the guy something, maybe not flowers but something like nuggets seem more appropriate. I am keeping the flowers though, they're pretty.

It would depend. I used to do it all the time, but she never did. So if she had done it, I'm not sure how I would have felt. On one hand she could be figuring that she really liked it so she would do it for me. On the other hand, it's so unusual that it could make me suspicious depending on how everything else was going.
