I wrote another question about this but it won't let me view it for some reason so I will post again.
I have been really struggling lately with the work load of being a mom, working from home and taking care of 90% of household duties due to my fiance's work schedule. I don't get much of any help because he gets home after 6pm every night. So I've been a basket case and he suggested bringing the kids out hiking today to get me out of this house because I feel trapped. I don't know if I'm overreacting here.
So last night everything is great. I was looking forward to hiking. Well this morning he gets up at 6am and immediately calls the dog on the bed. She is extremely hyper active so she was jumping on top of my head/scratching me several times so I told her to get off of me. He gets mad and says "I'm convinced you hate my dog" and got really offended that I didn't want to play with her at 6am when I'm half asleep. I start crying almost immediately, which is NOT like me at all. I'm just so mentally exhausted that this hit a nerve for whatever reason. So I start crying and he just takes off with his dog. I thought he was going to get coffee but an hour passes. So I text him and ask if he really ditched me and the kids here and brought his dog hiking with him instead. He calls and says "I can come get you if you want. I'm at the mountain." This hurt, tremendously. This hiking trip was supposed to be for me to get out of this house and he just left without me without saying anything, you know? So I just told him no, nevermind. I was already so hurt that he ditched me on "my" trip. So he says "Well don't fucking say I didn't offer". So I told him it was the principle of it. He left me home without saying anything because he was mad at me about his dog and now he is already 40 minutes away. He says I'm overreacting because he "offered" to come get me. He still hasn't come home because I told him to have a good day with his dog. Am I overreacting?
