I think the divorces are initiated bc the partner pulls away or becomes reckless to abusive or cheats. I didn’t think disinterest is the predominant cause. I’m not 💯 sure but I recall reading the number 1 official legal claim made is abandonment or emotional distress.

I can see how it might seem that way. Men are EXPECTED by most women to be the pursuers when it comes to dating. So when a woman feels connected to a guy, some guys think the work is done and they relax. Women want to be pursued indefinitely. They want to always feel loved and desired. And there will reach a point with most women where they will throw in the towel on a guy. Not because she given up on him. But because she feels he's already given up on her.
