Have you ever defended a female friend from a creep?

A few nights ago me and a work-friend had a shift together. She has lately been dealing with this guy that comes in asking for her number multiple times. I have too, but where more than once he told me "tell that girl I like her". He was one of the last people before closing and me and her were at both our registers. He sounded either drunk or high ASF, slurring words. In front of me he says "when do I get your number?" *No response from her.* "Where's your man then?" *Still no response, but she looked uncomfortable* he then said "yeah, you've got no man, you need me" she's single but I spoke up saying "yes she does" then she agreed. He said to me "you single?" I said "I have a guy" shaking my head.

He said "god damn, both of you are taken" then looked to my friend and said "still, he ain't better than me girl" I got real pissed and as I handed him his pack of smokes I said in a lower tone "you know what man, I suggest you watch your back every time you step into this store. Last time you were here bugging her, her boyfriend was in the store too. He already knows how it went" he said "ah shit I'm gonna get my ass beat!" And as he kinda speedwalked out he said "oh well, I already have me a lover anyway".

Really the whole time his words slurred, there was a decent amount neither of us understood. But after that he hasn't been back since lol.

Yes. Physically. I used to do this Friday night meetup thing back in Philly in 2017/2018. It was an open event, as long as you signed up online at Meetup. com. It cost $5 every week. I had been going for years and was the co-organizer due to my seniority. Most people don't come back after a couple times.

There was this one new guy who would come by and he started getting drunk just to hit on women and take them home. One girl who was a regular was this 5'2" redhead who couldn't hold her liquor. The pervy guy intentionally got her drunk one night, although I and others didn't notice cause there was like 30-40 people there. I was told by some of her female friends that he was trying to take her home. Essentially date rape. I don't have a problem with two drunk people going home together, but she was black-out drunk and could barely stand and it was possible he put something in her drink.

So the female friends asked me to help. I'm short in height, as most of you already know, but I weighed 300+ pounds at the time, and the guy was my height, but maybe 175-180, max. So I defended the girl and her friends backed me up. He tried to play the frat boy "Dude, you know what's up" angle, like I'd be cool with what he was doing. But then he saw I wasn't and got annoyed. I told him we were taking him home and if he had a problem with that, we could step outside and I could f*ck him so badly, he'd never be able to have sex again.

It's hard to convey the tone of this message, but some of you know I can be "negative" at times, too. That's my default. This means, when I get angry, EVERYONE knows it's serious and I would 100% f*ck a guy up. In other words, any stranger can tell I mean what I say and aren't just blowing smoke. And it was true, too. Being surrounded by all those attractive women throughout the night put me in a depressed mood. Like, I was sad and alone. A single loser who'll never find anyone. So I already wasn't in a good mood. And I 100% would've knocked his teeth out and spilled blood out of every hole in his body just as an excuse to take out my frustrations that night. The girls asking me to protect the drunk redhead was just a convenient excuse for that.

So the date rapist, knowing what I'd be physically capable of, backed down. He didn't even seem that upset. He was determined to just go to another bar and try it again with someone else. The girls had me carry the drunk redhead home, which was about five blocks away, because she lived downtown and was a young upper middle class girl who came from money. She may have only weighed 90 pounds, but carrying her five blocks in my arms (couldn't do it over the shoulder, cause she was puking a lot and we had to set her down often) was harder than it looked.

When we got her home and into her bed, the three friends looked at me like I was such a hero and everything. Like, I saved her life. But like I said earlier, I was just sad and lonely that night, and their words meant nothing to me. The most "action" I got was carrying a drunk, puking girl home. And since I'm not a scumbag, I'm not going to take advantage of her. But holding her in my arms didn't make me feel better. It just made my blue balls worse. So I got home and then jerked off for about three times in a row over the course of two hours. It helped with the horniness, but not with the loneliness and depression.

The organizer banned the guy the next week, because he caused too many complaints with the ladies. But he'd still try to wait outside the venue for a few weeks anyway. The redhead girl sent me a thank you text through her friend's phone the next day. But it wasn't anything special, cause I'm sure guys have to help her out of situations like that all the time.

TL;DR VERSION: I defended a girl from a date rapist, but helping her home didn't help me feel any better about being sad and lonely that night.

At a street festival last year. The juggler girl was just finishing her act. Two drunk college kids were cussing and yelling at her. She got scared and started packing up. Her 6’6” helper, Larry did nothing. I was in line for the tip jar. These jerks wouldn’t stop badgering her. As she and Larry grabbed the last of their things I was up front now. The guys made like they were going to follow her. I stepped in front of them. She got away and then they focused on me.

Its people like that is the reason why I carry. In any case, yes. I have had to intervene a number of times. My girl best friend, a very attractive lady, gets hit on and ogled every place we go and she doesn't always realize it. So it got to the point once where we pretended to be together so people would stay away.

It doesn't always work though. Which is why I carry. In case some creep gets a little too friendly.

Yes, it has happened a few times. One that comes to mind is before my ex girlfriend and I were dating I saw her getting harassed by some creepy older guy and I ran him off. She was glad I showed up and i hoped it might work in my favor because I really liked her.

Not a friend. But a woman yes. And I've had a woman get mad at me for it. To some women being treated like garbage is normal. some thrive on it. It's just what they know I guess. This is NOT the world i was raised in. I've learned to be selective about when to get involved. If a girl is giving it back to the Creep just as well I don't get involved, for example.

It's not very common. Maybe people understand body language better here. but my partner did have it sometimes, back maybe 15 years ago. but she was tough and could send them packing without the threat of punishment.
