My girlfriend was getting ready to go to hospital and I told her to wait. Am I wrong here?

She lives in a hostel. Her fever started today morning and now (night 8pm here) she was getting ready to go to hospital. I said "your fever just started today, why don't you take some anti fever med and wait till tomorrow".

A guy I know had a fever recently and refused to go to the hospital for over a month because “it was just a fever”.


Well, there’s no such thing as just a fever…he had an infection that spread to his blood and it almost killed him.


If someone you care about is feeling unwell enough to want a doctor, you’d have to be a monster to convince them otherwise.
