Would you ever try to steal your friends girlfriend/boyfriend?

If you had a lot in common with your friends girlfriend/boyfriend and you really liked them, would you make an effort to try to win them over or would you respect your friend? If you would do it, how would you go about doing it?

No although I had a “friend “ in High school who did that. Stole a friend’s girlfriend and that split our group up. Then he started trying with mine year later she asked why my friend was calling her. Confronted him and he tried to laugh it off so I jerseyd and fed him a couple times and cut him off. Our group of friends split at that point.

25 years later my sons friends with a kid around corner who turned out to be a guy who I hung out with in Highschool back then. He stuck with the douche and dtill hung out with him to the day.

Couple months later I go drop my son off there's for sale sign. Ask whats up tells me the douche banged his wife lol. I told him thats why we all ghosted you guys in HS because of that prick.

Normally, girls who have boyfriends are fair game. Every girl I ever met claimed she had a boyfriend. But I would NEVER go after a girl who was in a relationship with a friend. That was always one of my rules. I wouldn't destroy a friendship and I wouldn't want a bad reputation with my other friends for being a cad.

During high school days, I had one friend who did that. He'd tried to hit on a few girls who were in relationships with friends of his. I don't know what his motive was. He talked one girl into having sex and, when her boyfriend found out, it hurt him real bad. The damage had a ripple effect. I never trusted that guy after that.

Nope, two side to this. One the person trying to steal is complete scum if they know the person is in a relationship, second if someone can be swayed they are also scum.
