My friend from highschool wanted to reconnect and have some beers. I haven't seen the guy in 9 years!
My girlfriend knew I was going drinking and said she'd pick me up if I got too drunk. At 10:30, instead of driving home, I called her to maybe grab a coffee to help sober me up... she lives a 3 min drive away from the bar, so I thought she'd help me out..
To my surprise she refused! Said it's too late and she just showered... I drove home after sobering up a bit in the parking lot, but now she's mad that I even drove at all...
I can't help but feel unimportant and especially let down...
