My ex boyfriend has new girlfriend but he drunk texts me!

So I'll try to make this as short as possible. Me and my ex dated for almost a year.I was his first girlfriend, his first love, his first everything. Took his v card. He was crazy about me since the first day we me. of our families were very close and we spent every waking moment together.We were best friends.This year he went off to college 40 minutes away from me and neither of us had been driving.With the new situation we were both very stressed and very controlling of each other.I realized we needed to fix things so I suggested that we go on a break.He said he didn't do breaks and it became a breakup.We were both extremely depressed because we were madly in love.A month after we broke up he started dating a new girl, which he is still currently dating 5 months after.At the beginning of their relationship.He would still text me a lot and tell me he missed me and wanted me and that he wasn't over me.He acted like he didn't want to see me but he begged to see me over thanksgiving.He said maybe one day in the future we would have a second chance.I said "well what if you fall deep in love with her and you are with her forever?"and he said that's probably won't happen! We will have time for a second chance.As the months went on, the texting became less and less(I never text him first)he always texted me. He would say things to try and make me jealous or make excuses to try and talk to me or to see him by asking for things back. I deactivated my Facebook and he freaked out because he thought I blocked him.He told me I shouldn't get a boyfriend before I go to college and that I should go to the same school as him.He seemed to become colder and colder but yet he would randomly text me. One day I was home and he actually asked to hang out.We did and he asked me if I hooked up with any guys and what I did with them. After we hangout he texted me saying he missed me but that he can't miss me because it feels wrong cause he's not single.After that he randomly texted me again a few weeks after asking what schools I got into and asking me about my prom and who I am taking.He joked and said I should take him.I said I would probably take a boy I like.He asked if I liked him as a friend or more and he said. Remember I said no bfs before college!Oh he asks asked me to go on a double date with him and his gf.last Tuesday and Wednesday he drunk texted me.Tuesday I couldn't answer because I was sleeping. But I answered Wednesday.He started saying he missed me over and over and he asked if I still love him. I told him a lot has changed and he has a new home and girlfriend now.He kept saying over and over that he was single now.And that he was fr a while. I didn't believe him and he said it was complicated.He said he wantede to kiss him make love to him and that he missed my bjs and everything else.We both fell asleep and a few days later he apologized saying maybe we shouldn't talk anymore.I made things awkward. He still has a girlfriend and I'm confused! Help please!

Do you think he still cares? After he said we shouldn't talk anymore, we talked about it and worked things out. But the next day I posted on Facebook "I just ordered my prom dress yay" and he messages me saying.. I guess you have a date for the prom. Do you think he still loves me? More than his gf? I'm so confused :/

a friend of mine told me something that bothered her that she saw on twitter.She said that my ex had tweeted saying. " THANK GOD I UPGRADED! ugh I just don't know what to do :(
