We been together for two years, i found out the conversation between him and insta girl, the girl was flirting with him at first he even told her he has a girlfriend, that night he was very drunk he said.. but then they continued flirting, and she sent him nudes and he continued asking her more, then he told me he thought the girl is his ex messing up with her coz she has similar body and they r in same city and he wanted to figure out who is she if its his ex he would expose her but, nothing was innocent he asked for unnecessary things, he flirted her body.. ¡ love him a lot, he told me to give him a chance and he will make me happy and to start a new page together, i told him to give me his insta password for one day so i trust him again, he is so offended by this he says it breaks his ego and if he gave me his password he will be so heartbroken bez i treat him like that, he says its against his ego.. im trying to understand his point of view but i can't, he sent me screen of his DM's swearing there's nothing in his insta and no girls in dm, but i dont get why its so difficult to give me his insta password he told me he will think about it i know sometimes we talk with our friends in a way that we r not comfortable to show that side of us to out significant but i don't know. I dont understand why he makes it a big deal. And whats the relation between this and ego? Am i wrong for asking his password?

That's hard for me to say. I'd say you're right in that it shouldn't be a problem, but at the same time there needs to be trust in each other for a romantic relationship to work. If you don't trust him, I can understand why he'd be upset.

At the same time the excuse that you say that he used sounds like bullshit, so I can understand why you don't trust him. Even if he's telling the truth, that's just petty of him, and I doubt that he isn't enjoying the flirting and nudes to some extent regardless.

Is getting his password and looking through his messages going to be enough to trust him fully again, you think? If not... maybe breaking up would be better?

He s quite a weird. Regarding the password, privacy is indeed important, but not his ego. I would aslo be offended by this, although he should ve expected this..🤔, Anyway , If I was in your place I would broke up with him. I personally don t really tolerate these nidb of behaviour, like talking with anither girl and askibg her for nudes, firstly because he could ve watch porns (IT would ve been easier), and secondly he ALREADY has a girlfriend that can get laid with , so the whole thing is useless.
