A tough situation?

I matched with a girl online and after a few months of talking she just wanted to be friends. She asked me to go to dinner (after helping her with her job) with her the first time and then the second time she invited me for some coffee. But her boyfriend (which I didn't know about until days before) had HER ask me if I would go for her if she was single. Made things very awkward for both of us. Is it a good idea to tell her I do have some feelings for her and then disappear? I want to do what's right but not ruin the friendship and not cause trouble. I'm not sure what to do.

You should probably let her know. Her boyfriend and her probably wouldn't like wondering if she would prefer to be with you

I'm not so sure if she is doing it on purpose though. She might want to hangout just as friends. Still not sure though.
