Is it likely my boyfriend will find out the real reason why I broke up with him?

I broke up with him toward the ending of July but promised we would get back together within two months. During the break-up, the deal was to just remain as friend but we're free to date others if we want too.

I gave him a bunch of reasons such as stress in the family, preparing for my Master's and overall needing a bit of time to concentrate on things. The truth is I wanted to briefly date two guys without cheating. Then come back afterwards and resumed the relationship. After all whatever happens during the break-up or break doesn't count. We weren't exclusive at that moment.

So we're back since mid Sept. I know it doesn't know but I guess it can make someone feel kind of crappy I guess. Is it likely he'll find out?

I didn't want to totally end our relationship though, that's why I promised him we would get back together after I sorted things out.
