I just saw a video where they talked about a new tiktok trend (?) and that females show their lifes as a stay at home girlfriend or tradwife... would that be something for you?


Personally I couldn't, cause I never want to be financially dependent on a man.
I know from my mom, two aunts and one family friend what happens if you get in a situation like that and have to leave an abusive husband without having one fucking cent to your own.
But it could be nice working less and staying more at home but still earning a lot of my own money.

I do like a man with a provider mindset who is generous but I think the most I could do is be a stay-at-home fiancee until I'm a work-from-home fiancee.

Meaning, he could facilitate me to quit my corporate job, but I would start writing books and building a business while at home all day.

Honestly, I'd probably end up making more that way anyway and that's what a lot of those women on TikTok are actually doing, they are just misrepresenting it. Most of them are influencers who have a coaching business and multiple streams of income.

They just don't talk about it because they have created a character to capitalize off of this current trend that doesn't fully exist off-camera. Question everything you see!

Most stay-at-home wives, fiancees, moms, gfs, etc. don't get brand deals where they make $10k or more for posting product ads. It sucks because they are misleading a lot of young girls but they definitely DO have their own money and plenty of it!

Being a full time mom is hard, but hardly no breaks. Unless you have an infant. Then, yes, it is exhausting. I spent 3 years at home with my boys when I was out of work. I had plenty of down time even though I took care of the house.

@godfatherfan I guess it would depend on age of kids but for me I've been a stay at home mom for the last 8 years and there has never been time for a break. I'm either busy breastfeeding or homeschooling. Like today the baby napped for 45 mintues. I spent that time breastpumping and washing parts.
And I don't even consider caring for the house part of the job since I'm so busy with the kids. There isn't time for that

Have to wake up early to take him which means getting up after already being up all night with the baby. Also pick up is a nightmare literally takes a hour out of my day. Fuck yes I could. You realize how much easier that is than going to work. A lot of women complain that it’s hard work, cleaning, washing clothes, which they actually don’t the washing machine does. As early as I get up I’d have everything done by noon. I’ve raised my son on my own for about 5 years, quite easy as well compared to what women say about raising children. I get up at 4 to go to the gym for 2 hours, come home, eat, shower then start doing house work. Wake the kids up. It’s not a big deal. I’d have so much more freedom, probably even start my little own business at home. My mom taught me well so I can clean a house better than a majority of women while still being manly lol my wife stays home, hasn’t worked for the last 10 years but that’s what works for us.

Awhile back my family got the stomach bug. Everyone was dying and I just pushed through like a normal day. Women tend to be the ones to be able to go about things without complaining

Breastfeeding takes 800 calories a day. Bottle feeding takes none. A parent getting up to bottle feed is not comparable tired wise to a breastfeeding one especially on top of being pregnant and already being tired from that.

I think it's different when you actually love and trust somebody.. A lot of women want a man to depend on, and a lot of men want somebody they can work hard for.. That would be up to my partner, I have no problem being a stay at home if that's what he wants me to. I wouldn't mind working either and having him stay at home (if he still wants to work from home or not, I don't mind either way). Yes I was it was great once my son started school I started working part time then part time and weekends then full time. But being a stay at home mom was the best I wants like 3-4 kids to stay at home it just didn’t happen for us but I was blessed with one and I was a full time stay at home mom for 6.5 years then I worked part time & part time and weekends for about 5 years.
