We've been together for 2 years now, and have been engaged for the past month.
One thing I notice, that gets on my nerves is that whenever I say something that my boyfriend disagrees with.. he'll ignore me and tell me I'm wrong and do it anyways instead of having a conversation about it or making me feel like my concerns matter.
For example, we have a new puppy and I'm trying to teach him not to bite.. the puppy has been living with me but he's ours, I've done research and know how to prevent it.. then my fiance comes round and completely goes against the training I have been doing with our puppy, I tell him not to continue doing it as puppy will end up bitey and he does it anyways, now today puppy has been biting more.. this happens with a lot of things though, like if we're making dinner together and it's a dish that I like making he will ignore my ways to make it and make me do it his way and then it turns out wrong, or whenever I have an opinion or want to do something my way it's always his way and he'll tell me to shh
How can I stop him from doing it and get him to listen to me too?
