It has also brought upon a lot of things. Including people exposing other people’s behaviors, including people setting ridiculous double standards, low self confidence, increased toxic jealousy that results in an immense amount of hate talk and negativity.

no. the internet alone is not enough to do all this by itself. social media, pop culture, woke culture, celebrity worship alongside poor parenting, lack of role models and the public school indoctrination camp is what has contributed to this.

that's not to mention the lies force fed to people when they were kids that everyone will eventually find someone. fact is not every girl is gonna be a beautiful Disney princess and not every guy is gonna be the handsome prince who takes all her problems away. we're more likely to be the side characters no one gives a shit about and we need to find our own way in life.

I agree... I was around just before the cell phones became a thing. What things were like and what it's like now are like night and day.

Yes agreed! We're in hook up culture now which is unfortunate. With the internet instagram for example. especially with Face toon. There is always someone prettier, hotter, and someone who looks like they have a more glorious life style then you do. People are on to the next best thing. No one seems satisfied of what they have.

I think more are single because less are willing to settle. The internet just makes its easier to discover more options rather than settle. But it also allows people to be sneakier and talk to/date multiple at a time. Smh
