Boyfriend/father of my father of my child is distant, how to get him to communicate?

For the past 4 months the father of my child and boyfriend has been less communicative. He stopped sharing things with me. All he does now is post about it for me to see. He doesn't FaceTime us like before and i have tried talking to him about ot but it's still the same.

He was unemployed for months and recently started working. We live in two different countries but from the same country. I know he felt like a deadbeat because I have been taking care of our baby by myself.

This has been stressful for me and i told him I had a crazy thought that if I gave up our baby for an adoption he'd have a stable family.

I don't know what is wrong and how to get him to communicate better like before. I'm hurt and have been for months. When I break up with him he doesn't accept it but still doesn't share things with me.

It’s hard to get a man to communicate like a woman…openly in the best of times. Men, we hate to share our feelings and have to be super secure to do it.
