What would you do if you're from a old school culture and your partner's sister try to destroy your relationship?

Me from a place where elder people think it's bad to be in a relationship while in schools and colleges.

My girlfriend is 22 and she's a uni student. I'm 26 work, an engineer. Her parents and sister are against our relationship. Yeah can understand her parents backward thinking. But wtf is problem with her sister.

Her sis is just 24 and just got divorced. She asked her to block me in all social media and regularly check her mobile.

I guess things will be fine after her studies (2 years). What do you think about this? Should I stay calm until then?

They’re trying to control her. Not all relationships interfere in someone’s life. If you’re good to her and she’s good to you. This is what matters. If you’re both happy.


If you’re not screwing with her life…… Why does it matter? She’s a adult. You don’t even know them. They don’t have a right to be in your life especially.


Maybe they’re looking out for her and think they’re doing the right thing. But…. They’re being controlling.

Yes they are too much controlling and actually common from parents in our place. But her sister is young and behaves like born in 1950s
