I'm 23 and never had a boyfriend, no sex, nothing past a peck on the lips. Not even a proper romantic kiss.
The problem is my type just isn't common (not saying I'm into "tall and muscular men" only, that's not true at all) but I'm more of an old fashioned type of gal. I've always wanted a "gentleman" whether that sounds silly or not and lookswise he's gotta look manly but neat.

In 2023 there a few who are gentlemen or even care about gentlemanly conduct. To make matters worse society is very much geared towards making soft and effeminate men. As far as dressing neatly…these younger men don’t care for dressing like a proper adult, let alone even ironing the clothes they wear. People go out in pajamas and house slippers now.
Alas, you’d probably sooner find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow then the type of man you’re looking for. There are a few left, but most have gone the way of the dodo.

To me you are still young old but relationship isn't everything for a lady
I think what don't understand is someone without romantic relationship but doing what they love is much happier than those in a relationship
To me relationship drains a lot with sacrifices and leaving probably your dreams with someone because they act they want you and value you
All I can say is stay single as long as you are happy until the right comes when you are independent and can be without him

Stupidest thing they have ever said? are they religious by any chance? People are so used to being part of a herd. And they follow the herd, Do what they do , or are told to do. You are you, when you are ready, or the time comes , it's all good. Nothing wrong with it. They have something terribly wrong with them. But describe gentleman? Why is it "old fashioned" ? We exist, it's called respectful men. Are you a "gentlewoman"? I'd it a 50\50 type of relationship?
Nothing wrong with you. Nothing wrong with going your whole life without a partner or sex. There are so many different possibilities for how a life can go, it's not just one way for everyone and everyone has to follow the same path, nor have the same goals and destinations in mind.
No modern dating isn´t easy. It could be hard finding the right person for a long term relationship in certain social scenarios. Like there are jobs or educations situations where it could be hard finding a guy that´s single matching your interests.
Well feminism killed gentlemens so unless you seriously go up in age bracket, you won't find them. So you are looking for water in a desert without digging. So that what wrong with your choices. You might want something but if the environment around you is hostile against what you try to find. You will have to really look if you want to find what hasn't been killed.
Without knowing anything about your personality, interests, hobbies, habits, diet, looks, comprehension skills, health, etc., I cannot say whether something is or isn't wrong with you, but nothing about what you wrote already is bad.

I'm over 40 and never had a girlfriend. Girl, it's not a problem unless you are ACTIVELY avoiding it. We connect to who we connect to when we connect to them. What's normal for one person isn't normal for everybody else. Don't worry about it unless you truly feel you have issues connecting with people.
