When I was a kid, I was around this. My aunts cheated on my uncles. I heard stories of my friends walking in on their moms with guys. One kid was even traumatized after walking in on his mom giving a BJ to a black guy.

It’s been around me. I’m American by the way. Even till this day, I am cheated on and still see it around me all the time.

Does it surprise you that American women ranked number 8 globally for the most unfaithful wives admitted to cheating? Why are they ranked highly?

From my experiences in life and what I witnessed pretty much everyone is a cheater one way or another , whether it’s physical , or emotional it is still cheating , yes my finger points at girls more than guys , but that’s just based off of my own experiences and what I witnessed with girls , So the real question is , on whether they learned from it? And did they realize it was a horrible thing to do to someone. or are they continuing to do it as long as they are getting away with it? , like it’s no big deal. My biggest fear is being in a committed relationship with someone that tells me they Love me to my face but secretly they are cheating on me behind my back and acting like everything is ok , they are basically living a lie that they actually love me. not only are they wasting my time they are wasting their own time being with someone they truly don’t love , if they won’t to bring that secret to the grave with them then go for it living your whole life with that guilt that you are a piece of shit. Cheating is a selfish act period , if you have a partner that is loving and caring to you and considers your feelings and doesn’t deny you intimacy and affection Al the time and treats you with love and respect , you are dumb as fuck to cheat on someone like that , someone that makes you their priority, cuz I got news for you , finding someone that wants to be loved like that , especially these days is hard to come by , and yes cheating is dumb period but so many people still do it cuz everyone has selfishness in them and only thinks what is best for them without considering their partners feelings , that’s why I don’t jump into relationships right away , cuz when the infatuated time dwindles away people tend to have a change in heart and start feeling like they are missing out on things so I make it clear to a girl that I am dating , that if she ends up hooking up with someone else, to please just end it with me , cuz I do not want to commit to a girl that can’t be loyal to me , I have cheated before when I was younger and I felt like the biggest asshole on this planet , realizing I can never truly fall in love with someone if I can’t remove my selfishness for them , the same way I expect them to do for me , I have also been cheated on by girls that I thought were in it for the long haul , to find out she was betraying me , so the only way I will get into a relationship now with a girl is if she proves to me she knows what it means to remove selfishness for each other , without that you have nothing

Nothing surprising about this at all. Hell, even I've always thought it was true. American women are pretty jacked up. They divorce the most, want men of low morals, don't understand real love, and are full of masculine energy.

You don't see men from all over the world trying to marry American women like you see so many men from around the world wanting to marry women from other countries like Russia and Asia.

Please do keep in mind that statistically, there are inaccuracies. This is based off polls of individuals whom have been cheated on, not a legitimate statistic.

With that said, no, I'm not surprised. The US is ass backwards as it is. It's more common to find a spouse that cheats than it is to find one that is faithful and I'm willing to bet that goes both ways and isn't gender based. I'm willing to bet if a poll was put out asking women if they've ever been cheated on, the numbers would be just as high. I personally don't know a single person who hasn't been cheated on; man or woman.

Also take in to consideration here that in other countries, men are allowed to have more than one wife and it isn't considered cheating but women are not allowed to ever go beyond that husband, despite him sleeping with multiple women. It's more common in other countries for the men to cheat because it is allowed, as women are seen as disposable. If a woman was to cheat in certain countries, they would be killed off publicly or publicly shamed and considered "soiled goods"- deeming them unworthy of any man. This is still happening in other countries even today. There is a lot more fear in other countries that prevent women from "stepping out of their place".

Again, no, I'm not surprised. But there's other variables.

I have not seen the results or a description of how these statistics were collected but I think 71% is a high estimate. This number is apparently the result of self reports and those are notoriously inaccurate. The results could simply mean that American women are more honest that women from other countries! We also don't know how they selected their sample and that can skew results tremendously. I could select a group to poll and get a result of 5% or less, if I wanted to get an inaccurate number.

Just because you found something on the internet and it has a number attached to it doesn't mean it is accurate.

One of the first jobs I had after college was working in an engineering department. Just about every noon, one of the secretaries (married) would meet one of the engineers (also married, but not to each other) and they went to his car in the parking lot and had sex. They told people they were going to lunch but everyone knew exactly what they were doing.

I was naïve then, and this was the first time I saw someone cheating. Since then, I've seen several others cheat, both men and women.

That makes sense that Greenland has some of the fewest cheaters, though. If you’re in a fishing village and you cheat with the only other female in the village other than your partner, it’s gonna be obvious.

But for America to be number 8, that makes some sense but the study itself is probably not reliable because who is going to admit on a phone survey that they cheat regularly? They also only surveyed 1,000 people in the US out of 400,000,000. That is not nearly enough to use as a reliable sample.

This varies for a couple of different reasons, depending on region. Like here for instance, people use sex to get what they want. Some women's libido runs longer than men's. So if she's feeling neglected she will seek it elsewhere the same is true for men. With conversing with women from Asia, they seem to have double the "appetite" than European women. Well into the early 80's. For some they have been conditioned for this and others are just nemphomaiacs. The men, not so much. They seem to give up before they're 60. Society has made having sex a priority and when you've been conditioned this way if you're not getting it at home, you'll seek it elsewhere. I have been with some who really wasn't interested in sex, some who were nemphomaiacs and some who were cheaters. The moral of this is don't expect it several times a day and the stop after a few years. It's almost guaranteed if you do, they will seek it elsewhere.

I know some women that have cheated, some guys too but if that study is based on the subjects actually admitting then i got some bad news. those who didn't admit are not necessarily faithful, among them you will find two groups, you have those who get pleasure from deceiving their partners by leading a secret life and those who still have the decency to be ashamed to admit it even anonymously and on a piece of paper. The first won't admit because it defeats the purpose and kills the buzz they get off the secrecy and admitting will undermine their work while the second group uses denial to cope with guilt and embarrassment within. I'm not surprised. I was raised mostly by my father because my mom cheated and my parents divorced when I was 11. My boyfriend is going through a bit of hell right now because his mother apparently had been cheating for like 4 years and got caught late last year, so his family is in an ugly place. I know some of my friends have cheated on their boyfriends (and one on her girlfriend). I feel like people have no commitment anymore. I hate to say it but it seems like women are even worse than men that way. It makes be sad.

As explained by women on this platform in their views, for a lot of American women the only thing that matters to them is their own feelings.

As such there exist no such thing as honor, commitment, logic, or trust in dealing with them.

Frankly they should be treated like the children they act like for their own good. For in chasing endless what feels good they will otherwise wreak their own lives and the lives of anyone who might become depended upon them.

Theses women should certantly not be allowed to ever raise a child apart from a more responsible partner for they will inevitably delinquent and abuse said children when their proper care and discipline fails to feel good to them.

It's too easy now. Way easier.

First, you got the supply of men vastly overwhelming the demand of women rather than the other way around. Women can get sex by just asking (sometimes even without asking). Men can get sex by paying.

Secondly, social media and online dating made it easy to find and meet whoever. This means finding someone to cheat with (as a woman and without having to pay) is almost as simple as ordering groceries online.

Thirdly, while it's a good thing, that women can stand on their own by making their own money, it does leave the impression of men being replaceable or optional rather than being literally required for survival and the source of money like in the 1950s.
