Am I wrong for wanting to see my girlfriends "my eyes only" on snapchat?

I always tell my girlfriend se can be comfortable sharing anything with me. Our relationship is built on open conversations and honesty no matter what happens we can talk to each other.

To further that thrust between us the other day I convinced her to let me see her "my eyes only" and she saw mine. I saw her pin and she saw mine. She did delete or remove some pictures from hers. Yesterday I went to look at it and she had changed her pin. This makes me feel that she doesn't trust me, or she's hiding something. Besides again I have seen it the other day anyways.

We've been through a lot these past 6 months, I thought we could be open about anything to each other, it doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

It hurts me that she can't be open with me about this.

What happened? Is there a reason that you do not trust her? I am willing to be there is something that is making you feel like she is hiding something from you. You need to work that out with her. The simple fact is that if you did trust her, you would not care about what she has set to private.

Wouldn’t say you’re wrong but you aren’t exactly right either. I could see wanting to have it if she’s been unfaithful and you refuse to leave for whatever reason but if that’s not the case than it’s kinda weird for you to need access to everything and she can’t have zero privacy. behaviour seems a tad bit controlling and untwined with lack of trust. If you can only have trust from the need of knowing absolutely everything all the time is it really trust?

Honestly, you are in the wrong here. Your boundaries are such that you don't need privacy for your SnapChat in your relationships and while that's perfectly fine, your boundaries aren't the same as her boundaries. It's not fair for you to try and impose your way of thinking onto her.

Boundaries exist in relationships for a reason.

You're forcing an openness that isn't spontaneous or natural. It's something you want, but she might not be ready for. The way you talk about your needs like they are apply to both of you is a little creepy. Chill out and accept that your partner is her own person and you're never gonna know everything about each other.
