Pretty much every study shows that the amount of friction and conflict is not what decides the lifespan of a relationship.
What does decide it is how you resolve conflicts. That you both vent, yes that means fight and scream and yell (in a safe manner of course!), hear each other and then actually tackle your problems and feelings.
While that doesn't really mean that incompatability is suddenly good it does mean that getting along all the time isn't what makes a relation work. As long as you get along most of the time and are willing to stick with each other to actually figure out how to deal with the times you don't, you have good odds of lasting a lifetime. At least that's the current research stance as far as I know. I admit it has been a few years since I read much on this topic.
Thinking it depends on what type of compatibility you're talking about.
A long time if they try lol
I am incompatible with my husband but we are probably gonna get back together because to be honest we can't do better lol

Depends on their patience but mi wouldn't think they could last too long
There is no timetable. All depends on. the situation. Eventually, though, the relationship will. fail.
