A girl I've been talking to said she liked me but now she's being distant. Should I be worried?

So around a month and a half ago, I matched with this Brazilian girl on Tinder ( I'm Maltese ), and we hit it off. We started chatting every day, and after a week or so, she started sending flirty emojis like the hearts and this one 🥰.

At that point, I knew she liked me, so I started using those emojis back. It had gotten to the point that we start and end our conversation with hearts. Around two weeks ago she told me that I was the kindest and most sympathetic man she's talked to and that I'm the only one that she's tallking to.

Fast forward a week we were having a really deep conversation, and out of no where she told me straight up that she really liked talking to me that for the last few weeks that we've been talking she's been smiling non stop. I thought that was the perfect time to tell her that I like her, and she replied thatit was reciprocal, however she made it clear that she's very slow at these things and that there are still major obstacles like the langauge and distance which I understood.

The next day we didn't talk that much but when it was time to send goodnights she still sent me the kissing emoji. The next day things started normal, she hearted my good day message and the compliment I gave her on her story and said hello but that was it nothing more. I asked her how she was doing and that I started taking Portugese classes online so that we can eliminate the language barrier. Message wasn't seen or replied to for 2 days so I messaged her again to see how she's doing. She apologised and said that she was busy, of course I said that's ok, and went on the send her another message. Again no response and message wasn't seen for like a day and a half. So then I messaged her to tell her I hope she was having a good day, shich she relied a few hours later telling me that she had a quite day.

After that I asked her a question about a movie she suggested, message not seen and no reply for 3 days now. Should I be worried as much as I am atm?

The problem with those sites is that there are more fake accounts than real ones and you probably just fell on one of those fake accounts. Once you told her (him - most probably) that you are learning Portuguese, that was the sign that the limit was reached to how far she/he would let it go.

Honestly, do you really think that any relationship will work on a long term basis with more than 10,000 miles between you and her/him?

You were just the victim of a scam and it is only to your benefit to stop it while not much damage has been done.
