My boyfriend of 2 years had an ex girlfriend that he had run a business with before me. When they broke up she put him in so much debt that he is still paying off now. He still talks negatively of her to this day for putting him debt? Should I be worried or is this normal?

Obviously you'd like him to forget she ever existed, so your frustration is justified, but I think you're looking at it the wrong way.
He's simply complaining about someone who wronged him to someone he loves and cares about and feels will support him.
It has nothing to do with the relationship between you and him vs her and him.
Especially since he's still paying that shit off
