What % of women would leave their husband if they became terminally ill or permanently disabled?

It's surprisingly few. I think it's only around 20%, though it depends on the type and severity of the disability.

I expect that some of the women reward themselves with a prerogative of cheating once in a while for sticking around with their husbands.

If the disability preserves the guy's ability to work, but for example limits his sex drive many women will accept that.

When my father got sick he had both my mother and his current wife looking after him. My mother was especially shocked to see how this big, robust and loud man had become frail and slightly senile.

It wasn't the cancer that did him though - it was an ictus.

As long as they are of sound mind they can write a will leaving you with almost nothing and leaving majority of estate to anyone else. Even if you want to challenge, it'll take time and money.
Assuming there's a house owned by the couple, there'll be hundreds of thousands of pounds at stake.

I knew a guy that got ran over one night while he was out running. He was paralyzed from the waist down. He had only been married for 6 months and his wife dropped him like a hot potato. She just said this was not what she signed up for

@Sparkie460 Yes, this guy was a pretty well known bodybuilder. He was understandably bitter about it. The guy that ran him over was an illegal alien who was uninsured/unregistered. This poor guy just got his MBA and was starting a new job. He had a great future ahead of him. His life got totally derailed. I read somewhere that he died last year.
I used to workout with him right after the accident. He would drink a quart of Jolt Cola which had twice the amount of sugar and twice the caffeine as Coke. As shitty as things were he used to make me laugh.

I think in those situations their hostility is because they are soooo weak and are irritated they have to go through this. Women don’t really love men as men understand the word love. At best, a woman’s love for a man would be how we would think of appreciation or admiration, like an affectionate friend perhaps. They have no sacrificial aspect to their love for us, only for their children. Therefore it’s not really love as we understand it. When they say to us: “I love you” men must understand it to mean “I appreciate you” or “I admire you.” Their love and capacity to love us is very superficial.
