Is moving in and having sex the only things men care about?

Bostonbutterfly

I had a previous ex boyfriend last year (non-sexual though) that insisted on moving in with him after 5 months into the relationship. There was communication when we met though. I told him that even though I'm not into religion, I don't really don't want to move in until at least engaged, don't date just to date and want my first time to be special. He agreed with me in the beginning and said he respected me.

However after the 3rd month he kept pushing for both sex and moving in together too much. The last time he insisted on sex, I kept removing his hands off me and had to literally raise my voice (my face turning red from anger by then) after saying NO 3 times which he finally stopped but it upset him too and he left. He was like ''geez, I thought you were joking at first, didn't you were that serious but ok, bye then''. He broke up the next day. Is that all men care about?

Apparently I'm having a hard time finding someone that's compatible to me. I've been single since.
