Well they hope they can change your mind afterwards, no guy is usually going to wait until marriage unless he comes from a family with religious beliefs that are strict like that. You’re probably going be dumping him soon too because normally a guy is not going to wait that long, surprised he waited 7 months already, he should just marry now so he can have sex finally and if you’re not sexually compatible then get divorced and annulled. That’s the risk guys are taking by waiting till marriage
I've already dumped him yesterday night; told him that I didn't appreciate getting mislead, lied to. I believe sexual compatible can be worked out. I think several people think that just because we're waiting till marriage that we have low drives, not really. I just decided to wait till marriage out of choice both for myself and religion, making sure he isn't just a boyfriend that'll ditch me if we did it.
My stance is really non-negotiable. It's either that or he can take a hike, get lost. I couldn't be the opening my gate nor sacrificing my best years for sex. It's him that need to open his gate and sacrifice sex for commitment. I don't want to have kids at 30+-. I want a family while I'm in my good years. Just like several men are looking after their own interest, their own agenda, I get to do what's best for me too.
I never dumped a girl after having sex because that’s what kept me around. Hopefully you’re not wasting your younger years Waiting for such a guy to wait that long unless he decides to marry you within two months.
Off course not. I believe anywhere between 1-2 years is enough. If it can be under the year mark, it's great too.
I'm not spending too much time in the dating stage because unlike the typical long-term boyfriend and girlfriend relationship (those that date for 5-6 years or so), this is a short-term dating that leads to marriage. I'm always straight forward with what I want.
I married my wife after knowing her a year, probably because she was nice to me in every way and didn’t hold out on sex , I wouldn’t have lasted very long if she did because I would feel like I don’t turn her on enough, pretty much started doing things after 3 dates, marriage lasted 17 years but I wasn’t her first either though. I don’t know. Why women think the guy will leave after having sex unless he is a player which wouldn’t be true if he waits a few weeks, every relationship I had sex is what actually kept me coming back and the relationship lasting , it’s the women that didn’t want to do anything for a long time is when I figured there can’t be any future with them because they must not be interested or have no sex drive

@Asker Can't really say because we don't have his side of the story. It's very possible that you could have just been one of several women he had in his rotation. TBH if he wasn't having sex w/ you, he didn't loose much anyway, and now he can focus on getting a higher quality woman.
Meanwhile I'll search for someone much better than him that shares my views on this matter.

That's pretty much what happened. A typical modern man faked being traditional and thought he could handle it but couldn't.

well because we had made it official girlfriend an boyfriend but not anymore as of yesterday. I just broke up with him. I don't want to have sex in a relationship. I don't want cohabitation. I don't want to be a girlfriend for 5-8 years.
I made it clear from the start what I wanted; waiting till marriage and the relationship not going beyond 2 years. I don't want an extended dating period for years and years. I don't want to waste my time.

I just made him my ex boyfriend as of yesterday night. He lied to me about having similar views. There are liars out there too but their true colors come out quickly when they can't continue and eventually start getting sexually frustrated... hence him insisting to move in together.
