Will I have my chance in the afterlife?

I am 29 and never had a real girlfriend. I have wanted a girlfriend so badly ever since I was a child, but I have never been able to achieve that. I haven't even kissed a girl in over 8 years now.

I just cannot give my heart to a woman who has loved another guy before me, especially from her youth. It doesn't feel fair to give my heart fully for the first time to a woman who has given hers to someone before me, especially from her youth and especially to multiple guys. Me and a woman can no longer say we knew each other during our youth. That is missed time we can never get back.

I have a feeling I am going to live agonizing loneliness the rest of my life. That may be my burden I have to bear. But my question is, will my rewards be in the afterlife and will I have my chance for love then?

i can see why you have never had a girlfriend. you are being completely and utterly unrealistic. not to mention judgmental and picky... sure, that'd be nice to have... but it's not always possible! especially at your age. it's impossible to change someones past. it is what it is. and if you can't get over this, you'll be single forever. i'm sorry to be so harsh, but... this is coming from an outsiders point of view.

you have posted this question before and you are nowhere closer to where you want to be because you purposely hold yourself back because of something so insignificant at the end of the day.

either you'll be weird and date someone young, only because they haven't had anyone (and that's a big IF), and disregard any compatibility but hey at least they haven't had a past and are completely ignorant to relationships! or you can find someone who is actually compatible with you, but god forbid they have a past... come on dude. it's time to start being realistic and accept this is unrealistic. no one is perfect...

i'd also like to add, say you did find this special someone with absolutely no past and has never ever "gave their heart" to someone else. you date them. and then, a few months or years later you break up. what will happen then? now you're tainted and no good, just like you thought previous girls were. absolutely awful outlook on life and disrespectful to women everywhere.

firstly, people have pasts, they fall inlove with others thinking it would work and then it just doesn't... its life. You ask about afterlife but why not just live the one you are currently in?
Also you can't give your heart away, its an organ but you can have feelings for someone that can lead to commitment etc. Its also okay to want something and not settle for less but you also have to ask yourself, what are you offering in return... You could meet the perfect woman tomorrow that ticks all your boxes but who's to say you are her match? You can live your life lonely and sad or you can make a few changes to how you see people.

There probably isn't an afterlife. Or at least we have found nothing about the brain that can only be explained by some magical connection to a higher plane of existence. So, when the brain stops functioning its entirely likely that we just stop existing, much like how it was before we were born.

This is both good and bad news. It means you get to make your own choices but it also means you have to make your own choices. You don't get to say your successes or failures are someone else's fault (unless they physically stopped you in some way). But you can also choose to believe whatever you want to about an afterlife and when you die it will make no difference if as you die satisfied or die full of resentment. The only people who might be able to tell a difference are those still alive and if none of them think of you as anything other than resentful, chances are good they will forget you as quickly as possible.

No. It's called "till death do us part" for a reason. There is no marriage in the hereafter. But it's also a life free from sin, so there'll be no lust either. So you won't miss it. And you'll be surrounded by God's love so that is all the love you'll need.
