We haven't talked in 3 days...is it over?

I have been dating "Jane" for 7 months.

We talk almost everyday and live close to each other...so it's easy to see each other and talk often.

However, the other day we got into this huge fight (we fight a lot and I am sick of it) and I was so frustrated that I said I wanted to break up with her and it was over.

A few minutes later when we cooled down I said I didn't mean it and we got back together. Basically we broke up for 5 minutes.

Truth is...we fight a lot and I am not happy. She can be so rude and inconsiderate to me that I don't want to be with her.

We talked the following day and everything was fine, but I haven't heard from her/seen her since. It has been almost 3 days since we've talked.

I understand she is busy studying for finals (she is a summer program and has a final every day this week), but it's strange to not talk to someone for 3 days especially when you see or talk to them pretty much every day.

I think I should break up with her because I am not happy right now and I don't think I want to be with her. But I also have no real interest in texting or calling her.

Do you think maybe she feels the same way by not calling/texting me? Do you think the fact that I broke up with her briefly the other day has her worried?

What should I do?

I'm in the same situation.

I'm not happy with her, she treats me like garbage and takes me for granted, been unhappy for 2 months yet I still hold on to hope she turn around and become the girl I loved.

I've prepared a message to her, yes I know its low to break-up over text messages, but I can't see or hear her ever again.

I've tried to get my life back for so long, set times she has to contact me and say the right thing, but I've always broken down under the loneliness, I can't stop myself, I still feel so much for her, but she makes me feel unloved.

She barely contacts me, and all her time goes to friends instead, she doesn't seem to miss me at all, even sleeps over at guys I've never heard off "they're just friends" but she still seems to have more time for these guys I've never heard off instead of making time for me at least once a week.

I need to do this, get it over with.

it will hurt, but you will get over it and be a stronger person in the future.

If you aren't happy maybe you need to break it off even if it is just a short break from each other. Time to think can make a whole world of a difference. Don't try to force a relationship that you aren't happy with. Best of luck!

I think you should give it some time for the relationship to work out. You have been dating for quite a while and if you spent every day talking for 7 months, it's quite an effort to just push past you. The best solution is to give her some time and have her call you when she's ready, or call her within two days or so and tell her you two need to talk. Then address what it is that makes you unhappy in the relationship or the amount of time you spend together. Good luck!

Like you put in a lot of time and I'm guessing emotion into this relationship, so it's different than if you just met last week and it didn't work out. No problem, I'm here all week :P

It is best you actually contact her instead of waiting for her to contact you. I think guys need to understand that maybe the girl is waiting for you to get in touch with her.
