It's been almost 3 months since we last talked... are we done?

So a girl I've know for a few years came back into my life in the summer, we hung out things happened and we were on the verge of being in a relationship... then the shit hit fan, thing were said & done (more so on her part) and some ill feelings were shared. She did a lot of things that upset me but she did something completely unexceptable when a friend of mine passed away and she showed no sympathy...

I don't feel like sharing the whole story (I already have numerous times) but I erased her number and deleted her from social media because I felt insulted and that she wasn't going to apologize for any of the things she has done... but I really wish she would have so I could let this go & stop being so angry about everything that happened.

Almost 3 months and she hasn't tried to contact you? ... sorry man but you're done, stop wish for that apology because it ain't going to happen

Maybe in time things will be resolved and you 2 will be able to speak again & resolve this.

Just forget about it entirely... you're wasting your time otherwise.

It sounds like you're better off without her, and it is probably unlikely that she will apologize in the near future, although I could be wrong. Don't expect to receive an apology though, as it may never happen, and try to not let it get to you. It's her loss, not yours, and if she is that unsympathetic towards people during their times of grievance (and most likely in other areas as well) then she will probably end up losing lots of other people in her life as well. So in other words, she's the one who has to live with that, not you, and you shouldn't feel bad about it.

She really brought out the psycho-crazed rage in me (not towards her more so on myself... it's complicated, I've been in bad state and then having that friend die & her prodding me - I also caught her with another guy and she tried to deny it! - made me breakdown a bit) when I'm usually a very calm & reserved person.

There's a lot more to this story (way more than I care to share) but one thing that drives me insane is how I still think about all the things that happened... I struggle to let it go.

Aww, I understand. I had an ex that cheated on me with my friend and was also very insensitive towards a really bad issue I was going through, and I was furious at him for months. You're definitely better off without her, especially since she cheated on you as well, and she sounds like a piece of work. It'll take some time, but eventually the feelings will wear away.

It is really hard to let go when someone has hurt your feelings or has wronged you. But here is the flip side. Have you done things that have hurt her? Maybe you both need to apologise?

Yeah I upset her as well but nowhere to the degree that she upset me... it's like I gave her a little shove but she stabbed me multiple times in the sternum.

What she said when my friend passed away was practically unforgivable and she hasn't even made an attempt to patch things up... so whatever.
