Why the hell is nobody telling the boys any of this until someone like Andrew Tate gets famous and seen as some kind of idol like "the male role model 21. st century" and "the guide your father failed to be" and the Elliot Rodger incident and the rise and fall of MGTOW? Is this the forbidden knowledge we have to dig up our damn selves? To fight our demons alone (with secret therapy and counseling) and not show it?

That’s what fathers are supposed to be for.

Fathers are supposed to guide their sons and help them better navigate the real world.

Young men who look to [insert male figure] are trying to find that guidance.

I went through a similar experience in my late teens.

I didn’t know what it meant to be a man and my father didn’t teach me—he just went to work, watched tv, went to sleep, and repeated that pretty much all my life. He was an NPC that wasn’t involved in my life. And, when I was even younger, he physically abused me by beating me. And he didn’t stop when I was crying. Even when my mother told him to stop, he kept going. Because it wasn’t discipline. It was an anger-venting session.

So, I didn’t have a father figure in the home—so I looked elsewhere.

And that’s where it starts.

Young men looking for answers outside of the home because their fathers aren’t doing their job.

For me, I drew from a lot of different sources, but one of them was Elliot Hulse. I learned a lot from him—many things that my father should have taught me.

But as with anything, one needs to take things with a grain of salt. When you listen to someone’s advice you don’t have to adopt their entire philosophy. Just hear what they’re saying and allow your own personal experiences shape how you finally view the world.

Now about NEVER showing your girlfriend your weak side because A, B, C…

It sounds like you’re hearing this advice from men who have lost hope in women—men who do not trust women—men who are from the Red Pill or MGTOW community.

I’ve read the entire book, The Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi. So, I understand the Red Pill perspective.

But, just because I understand it, doesn’t mean I agree with everything.

The overall message is to have sex with women but do not trust them because they cannot be trusted and will betray you sooner or later.

It’s a very cynical view, it puts all women in a box, and it’s a generalization.

What does the Red Pill and MGTOW community have right?

2 things mainly…

One, it’s important to work on yourself. The world isn’t going to feed you with a silver spoon. Work on yourself. Improve yourself. Because you aren’t entitled to anything. You have to work for it. This, I agree with.

Two, women are capable of evil and women are capable of horrible things. True.

But, listen. Men are also capable of evil and doing horrible things.

In fact ALL humans are capable of evil and horrible things.

But, that doesn’t mean that all humans are evil and should never be trusted.

Women, men, humans, are also capable of good.

The bad apples don’t represent everyone.

And as with pretty much everything in life, things are not so black and white.

Tate is a jackass, but - to use religious language - God once spoke through an ass. Sometimes truth comes from unlikely places and vile people.

Women do not like it when men are weak and overly expressive, at least not at a sexual level. She winds up feeling like his mommy, and most women hate that dynamic (hetero and bi dom women *do* exist, of course). Any openness shown needs to be concise and not drawn out. Even when men expose their "weak" side, they should project from a position of self-confidence / contentment:

"I'll probably get passed over for that promotion, but it's no biggie."

"[Sibling] laying into me like that hurt. Oh, well. S/he spoke their mind."

"Spot was a good dog. I've missed him since he died."

Historically, men were vulnerable / emotional with their best friends. You told your problems to your bro to vent, and then you went back home and didn't bother the wife with silly emotional stuff.

there's plenty of reasons why this knowledge is forbidden

1) it goes against the status quo of enslaving military age men to comply with society

2) feminism needs to suppress men because the moment men recognize their value, all hell breaks loose

3) blind men leading other blind men. a lot of dating/relationship advice from the general mainstream public whether online or offline is full of bullshit designed to sabotage and other men e. g. if Hunter Avallone can convince his viewers to cry in front of their girlfriend, it makes him feel better for being cheated on after he tried to his wife

4) people are unaware of this and just repeat the same lies over and over again

5) nobody cares about men or helping them. from a historical/evolutionary standpoint, men have always had to figure out the world for themselves while they did everything to placate and facilitate to women's feelings from wiping out entire species of animals to inventing mattresses, air-conditioners and passing laws that punished crimes against women etc.

I’m sorry that you don’t feel like you can show your weak side to whomever you end up dating, if you’re able to successfully meet anyone anyways. The only advice I have for that is to choose your partners better. My boyfriend will communicate how he is feeling even the not so great portions which isn’t weakness, it makes our relationship stronger. I do the same to him. There a difference between someone able to communicate and show emotion (both good and bad) to someone who lets their emotions rule them and are too sensitive for their own good. If someone uses that against you they’re obviously a waste of time and if that is all you’re attracting either choose better or figure out what you are doing to attract that type of person and change it

it depends on who is your girlfriend. if you think you deserve someone who treats you like that, badly and disrespectful than you will get that. if you have high standars rhat you won't be with that kind of girls. the same is about girls being have naked and selling themselves online and thinking that their boyfriends will pay for everything and that he should treat her like a queen and that she can treats him like a shit. if you think you deserve better you'll get better.

There are elements of the doctrine from such people that are genuinely useful to young men but they are from a certain perspective and I'd suggest you interpret their words for yourself and formulate your own values and opinions that have meaning in your life. Noone has all the answers and what works for them may not for you.

However I appreciate their presence as opposition to the dogma that we are all too often preached.

The right woman is not going to run the other way if you show a moment of weakness. We are all indecisive at times.

I do think generally that you need to demonstrate consistency and direction. Perhaps that's why they sometimes call us their rock.

I have heard thw bullshit of confidence being the key to a pretty girl's heart. Many of them choose to date assholes. O see assholes as insecure especially if they have to be tuff to limit guys from being friends or even talking to them. I mean men that value integrity over scaring competators away are more confident.
