I know he's a nice guy, but the huge age difference makes me doubt. What does he mean by saying that? Is he being honest about his feelings for me?
For me time is time that has no time
If he's older than you then his time is shorter than yours maybe
And in this moment of time it sounds like he is deeply in love with you and he means well that you have to remember in his head he has done the math
I've done that with girls younger than me and I have that conversation of there's going to become a moment in time where I'm going to be holding you back and I don't ever want to do that so I would have to make some sort of deal with you to say I love you will always love you but you need to keep growing and that's what I would want so you have to calculate that time
And then you have to remember all it takes is a second for something to change time everything changes doesn't matter what time it is things change and you have to work together grow together to be together to be happy together so
When he says a long time he probably means until it's time for you to let him go and move on with your life
It's kind of a sad thing but in a roundabout way if it is true love and it lasts that long that's better than being with somebody your own age and getting a divorce and living through that
But each to their own I say good luck I say weigh it out and you have to make your choices too it's just not up to him. The be honest about it 100%

When someone says, "I wanna be with you for a long time," it generally implies that they have a desire for a long-term or serious relationship. However, it's essential to consider the context and communication style. The person might be expressing their genuine feelings and interest in you. The age difference could be a concern for you, but it doesn't necessarily mean the person is insincere. It's important to have an open and honest conversation with them to understand their intentions and address any concerns you may have about the age difference. Communication is key in such situations.
"A long time" is just as subjective as beauty.
To some players, a long time means a few weeks and to the serious people, a long time can mean a lifelong. It all depends on the character and personality of the person saying it.
It would be interesting to know how many times these "long times" have taken place in the past with his previous girlfriends.
Don't have great hopes because nowadays, a long time is very relative and also subject to what criteria is used to determine the length of time someone is together with another person.
A long time could be the time it takes for you to get your first wrinkle, to oppose a decision he takes or to refuse some sexual fantasies he has.
It means what he says, there is no second meaning behind it. Imagine you say that line, it means the exact same thing.
I just don't like the fact he said "long time" and not "forever", it sounds like he's going to leave at some point. I know that's not what he meant, but it comes off that way.

I don’t care about words only. It’s actions that matter.
He might mean between 6 months to a year
That means he wants a three day weekend sex fling rather than a 15 minute quickie.
He might mean several things. Is he sincere?
Means they want to be in a long term relationship with you and not just a casual hook up.
I wanna be with you for a long time
You asked this yesterday
