What are your standards for a wife/husband?

My generation sucks with relationships.

What I hear from women are complaints that always been around: Cheating, abuse, neglect, jealousy, control.

Now, the problem that I, and other men may or may not have, is getting more similar. Cheating, abuse, neglect, jealousy, control.

See, having standards in my generation is now seen as "insecure, misogynistic, controlling, toxic, sexist" etc.

If you don't want a girl who films adult content, you get labeled insecure, controlling, toxic, etc.

Honestly, have your guy friends, I don't need your passwords, I don't need to know where you're at 24/7, etc.

I only got two rules: No adult content making (I won't cuff you if you did it in the past, either.) And anyone you slept with before gotta go. It's really bare minimum, but my generation of women make it seem like it's a dictatorship set of rules.

smart, interesting, funny...and since you said wife and not just girlfriend... then it would be a must that she wanted to start a family, which is the one reason why I would marry in the first place... unless, that she didn't have children as one of her plans in this life, then I could still consider going with that... just the of us for the ages...

My bare minimum is mutual respect, ability to communicate, similar needs and expectations, and similar interests and opinions. Not the same, just similar, so, we won't kill each other but still have topics for conversation.

We can make the rest work with time.
