Can guys be in relationships without ever cheating?

My husband was overseas for a while and he says he didn’t cheat on me while on his job. I don't know what to believe due to amount of time he spent over there

He did not cheat on you. i had gone on a retreat for a few days and there was a guy i was hanging out with that cheated on his wife. I was not tempted, I was a little disgusted. Your husband probably would too.

A big thing to understand about people is the claim that "everyone cheats given the right incentive" is false. Cheaters cheat. Some people (like myself) have a strong moral compass. As such are unable to cheat because it feels so morally wrong they can't even get attracted enough to someone to get to the point of intimacy

Yes. I know for a fact that I would never cheat. I might not be the average person in this way. But I'm still a dude so it's possible.

There were problems with flirtations at his job at the corrections. People didn’t give a damn if we were married or not…women were disrespectful

I knew my ex-wife about 40 days before I went into the Military. I didn't see her again for 5 months. When I was in Tech School, I had 7 different women ask if I wanted to get a hotel room. Anyone could get laid in Tech School. I never cheated on her. She would never have known, but I would have known.
It comes down to the kind of man he is. If he is loyal, there is nothing to worry about. If he was the kind of guy you had to worry about here, then he probably did stuff there.
Jealousy is a cancer in a relationship. It is the one thing that is a instant deal breaker for me. Unless there is a reason not to trust him, you should.

It's definitely possible and I know my boyfriend would never cheat on me. Can't say the same for other guys. But your husband is probably one of the good ones and didn't cheat on you.

Yes. In fact, I'd hazard that to be the majority of relationships. Whether or not someone is faithful in a relationship is a choice. Men aren't programmed to cheat.

The answer is yes, if you are comfortable in a relationship and you are accomplices in everything, cheating does not happen, if this happens it is because there is something missing from the relationship, I don't think this is the case with you, stay calm.

I retired from the military a couple years ago. Yes, there are those who don't cheat. I had many great guy friends who were faithful while deployed. I went 15 years being very faithful. My ex-wife and I both had infidelity issues at one point, unfortunately. I cleaned up my act and will never do that again. Unfortunately my wife cheated many times and didn't make an effort to change. She divorced me last year and still sees the guy she cheated on me with.

I think this is an issue about trust... if I didn't trust someone or trust myself for that matter, I would never marry them
