For example, do you trust someone who says "I'll never cheat on you" over someone who just never cheats
What I'm saying is, why do people tend to want to hear things, they like?

I very much prefer when they do not "need to clarify"
for example... in any previous of my relationships, not once... not ever, we never had a talk about "being loyal and faithful" and the idea of "cheating" just never crossed our minds, we were just not... any of that
we didn't break up... we just grew up, and had very different plans towards the future
not sure what you mean by that... would you care to elaborate?
I will never trust the words "I will never cheat on you" and "I have never cheated on you".
The cocky bad boy types I've dated in the past, including my boyfriend who just died two months ago all cheated on me and lied about it. My husband did admit it and we got a divorce.
I’d like to think they mean it…. So both words and following up in action is important for me to trust someone. Sadly words are very cheap these days even when you think they’re a catch or good person..

Like dating here is a sandwich there is NO poison in there!
Rather he say I'll always love you not I'll never cheat
