Trending & News no, i think moving together kills the relationship, for me, a couple shouldn't live in the same house more than a week at maximum, sharing the lifeand habitat thing is not a good idea only timei could considered good is you and families lives together in a place like the one outside of the bloodline moving in with your family not like an independent couple because with independence, there comes responsibilities and expectations and problems and most people arenot qualified to solve problems themselves or as a couple, a 3rd person view on things always tends to be more objectif with the right peoples who defends the one who is right and not the closest.
No. It makes sense to live with each other if you both keep your own places. But there is no way I would rent a place with someone unless we were married. I did that once and it turned into a disaster.
On the other hand, I lived with one girlfriend for well over a year, but I kept my apartment. All my stuff was in my apartment. We didn't share furniture, rent or expenses. That worked out great.
After 2 years, why don't you get married if you feel comfortable enough to move in together? You act like you're committed but you're not.
The reason why I would say it is odd is because the whole point of relationship is to find someone to build and start a family with. But if you’re content being separate then how important is that relationship? Are u just in a relationship because ur comfortable? If you’re happier living in separate households then does that person really complete you? Like, what’s going on?
I don't know. To each his own. Everybody does what works best for them. But in my opinion, if we’ve been together for 2 years with no plans on marriage or living together the. I would question the longevity of this relationship.
It depends on the relationship, it should be moving forward but if the relationship is toxic than no it’s better not to move in together. But if everyone is happy and things are good and that isn’t a topic of conversation yes it can be weird but religion and age play a factor as well.

After 2 years of being together, the couple would typically want to move in together, or to keep things the way they are. In either case, that's a plan.
I would not form any opinions about how odd it is until I heard an explanation.
Not at all. There can be plenty of reasons not too. I know a few people like this. Uncommon shift work. They like the balance of their own place when their boyfriend/girlfriend is away. They are slowing working toward a marriage and want to save the move-in together for after that. Even just waiting for the market to be right to sell one of their homes and move into the other. I see no reason to overthink that. In a lot of places the move in happens after marriage anyhow and there is a lot to be said for why that’s a good idea.
not really no... there's many circumstances involved, so it doesn't always work for everyone nor every time either
sometimes it can happen quicker, other times longer or not at all...
they could be in college, for example... and it could be better to have a smaller place or wait and stay with parents too...
Everyone moves at their own pace and there are no rules or deadline expectations set for when it's odd for a couple not to move out together. Everyone has their own circumstances with family, financial situation and other stuff. The key to a lasting relationship is communication, patience and understanding.
What kind of couple is that? If they are not married, if they are not even engaged yet, it's fine and even responsible not to have such plans. And science says that the time for serious plans comes after 3 years together, when the hormone-induced infatuation wears off. If You still want to be together after those 3 years, it's most likely a good idea. If You don't, it was never a good idea.
NO... EACH COUPLE GOES (OR AT LEAST SHOULD) GO AT THEIR OWN PACE. YOU SHOULDN'T COMPARE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO OTHERS. TRY KETO IN MIND THAT **TYPICALLY** WOMEN WANT TO MOVE FASTER IN RELATIONSHIPS THAN MEN. (IT'S AN REVOLUTIONARY THING). THEY AGAIN, **TYPICALLY** NOT ALWAYS, WANT COMMITMENT AND MARRIAGE QUICKER THAN MEN.. SO NO.. IT'S NOT ODD.. TALK TO YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER, SEE WHAT THEY WANT, HOW THEY FEEL, AND DON'T BE AFRAID TO EXPRESS YOUR OWN WANTS AND NEEDS EITHER...(JUST BE THOUGHTFUL ON HOW YOU DO IT)... YOU DON'T WANT TO COME OF AS ALL OF A SUDDEN NEEDING THINGS TO CHANGE TO MORE SERIOUS...
Not odd at all, a long courtship/engagement used to be the norm only moving in together (if at all) as the final test to see if they are compatible, its only in the last 15 years or so that couples have been moving in together with less than 3 years on the dating clock.
As the old saying goes; Marry in haste, repent at leisure - Get to know somebody very well before you marry them, or you may regret it later.
I wouldn't say it's odd. I don't know their reasons.
But it's also not the way I see relationship. I need to feel, hear, touch and simply be together.
I might be biased, being in a 6 year relationship with no plans of moving in together, but I don't think it's weird. It all depends what the people in the relationship want. Whatever makes them happy 🤷♀️
It’s a little odd, in my opinion, but it’s really nobody’s business. If you guys enjoy having your privacy and personal space, then keep doing what works best for your relationship.
Normally i’d say its odd but if we’re not at least engaged which i feel that should be coming by or before the 2-3 year mark then i can't push moving in together
Definitely odd.
But then I don't think you're asking what you think you're asking.
I'm not passing judgement. I'm simply stating that it is uncommon. Or possibly that the number of instances isn't divisible by 2.
No. I have dated for years and not want to make plans for her to move in. Even now I have no interest in having anyone move into my house.
Not at all , why does everyone always have to move in?
nope not really. also none of anyones business
Yes, because why wouldn’t they want to be together
I don't think it's odd. Some couples just don't want to share the same household, and it shouldn't be seen as an issue.
Depends if the guy/girl likes playing the field and gets a lot of side action. Who would be in a hurry to move in together?
No, it’s fine. It would be great if we each have our own house too, even when married too. I’ve known couples who did it, and they were fine.
Nope. What exactly is living together going to do for you besides make you all more miserable?
My mother dated many men. I saw it first hand. The moment they would move in, everything got worse. Everyone started getting sick of each other.
Not moving in together is completely fine. Actually I don't see why a couple should move in together. It would be odd if after 2-3 years together, the couple is not engaged yet.
that depends on what their relationship is working for them
Nah man every relationship is different and everyone has their own pace. As long as they're both happy that's all that matters
