Have you ever tried to leave a friends with benefits and they will not leave you alone?

Like I told this man I want a boyfriend for 2024 that I’m tired of being friends with benefits basically. his response was he understands and he loves me enough to not hold me back and he hopes my future is as brave as my smile and that he’s gonna miss me. Then proceeds to still try to get me to come see him. I don’t wanna be a petty ass and block him but he does not want to let me go and it’s selfish. I’m so lonely. I’m sad because I literally have no one. I go out to eat by myself I go shopping by myself. I have no one to hold me no one to spend time with no one to go anywhere with no one to buy me gifts or to buy gifts for on the holidays. This Christmas season was so horrible. I barely survived it. If it wasn’t for the fact that I had to work I probably would have lost my mind. There has been a couple times when he has met up with me at work and bought me lunch and he’s helped me out a couple times, but I need more than that.
