When your partner decides they want to be selfish all of a sudden and they no longer want to spend a lot of time with you anymore , they make plans without you and exclude you from doing things with them , when it was never an issue before You are no longer a priority to them , they treat you like a convenience , they are more than likely going to cheat on you or already cheating on you. Never be a sitting duck for a partner that treats you like a convenience, if they start choosing everyone else over you and excluding you from things when they never did before , it’s best for you to walk away and tell them it was nice knowing you , let them go live their selfish life , when they realize how selfish they were being , they might try to come back to you , and that’s when you say Nope , Go fuck your self , I met someone else that doesn’t want to exclude me from things that makes me a priority , You had your chance and you blew it , Never take an ex back period , if they truly loved you , they wouldn’t of walked away from you period , Always remember those words
One of the toughest for my wife and me was discovering after marriage that we couldn't have children. We tried the fertility clinic and IVF but no luck.
It's one of the few times I ever saw my wife cry and was a very difficult time for us. Actually she even said she wouldn't blame me if I divorced her. I thought that was so silly and told her I made a wedding vow and that we're a team for life!
But it was something that deeply upset her for a long time. I tried to bring up the possibility of adoption but she got so upset saying a child should at least have my genes. So I stopped bring it up since it hurt her every time we talked about it.
We worked through it though and something that I think really cheered her up is that we adopted some stray cats in recent years. She absolutely loves our cats and constantly gets excited taking care of them and getting new cat towers and toys for them. I think that brought her some sense of peace.
Also recently my sister moved to Japan last year and my sister and her husband have a daughter (my niece and wife's niece-in-law). We babysit her a lot and it tends to make my wife so happy each time.
It seemed to help a lot! I think taking care of them helped to let her exercise some of her maternal instincts as well as babysitting our niece. Also we started to appreciate that we could do things like stay up late together at night while all of our friends with kids had to go home early. We do admire couples with those responsibilities over children but we have a relatively easy-going life in exchange.
You will go through hard times in a relationship once in a while. If this is a serious and committed relationships giving up should be the last option. Both parties should always make the effort to talk things through. Me and my husband have a great relationship but is not perfect and sometimes we have our days but we have some boundaries. We don't raise our voices at each other ever and when we have a disagreement we sit and talk and acknowledge our mistakes and come up with solutions to fix the issue. Relationships are partnerships not completions.
there are natural crises during a relationship related to the two people's dynamics. Each of the crises comes with some hardships.
out of it, if partners give up taking care of their relationship and themselves, stop talking and sharing and focus their efforts only outside.
also, situations when one person thinks "it will be better that way" and doesn't talk their idea out, just makes the one-sided decision for "the good" of the relationship
sometimes feelings wear off for different reasons; sometimes trust is broken, sometimes nothing is left...

I have been married for a long time. Like all marriages it has had ups and downs. Often it takes compromise and some times you have to try and see things from the other person's point of view. Then sometimes you have to decide what is more important.
Dump and move on. I didn't know what an easy relationship was till I met my husband 9 years ago.
I broke up with my ex girlfriend a few years ago afterwords I told myself I never really wanted to get dragged into a relationship. Plus I don’t taking that risk again.
Talk. Usually it is the lack of talking that starts the difficult times. Don’t be afraid to address issues out loud.
once they stop communicating
We broke up ….
When the honeymoon phase ends.
