If in the deepest of your heart, you still have a thing for your ex, I would not start it. Cause it might ruin of what you have built with your spouse. Trust is fragile. Once the trust is broken, it will never be the same.

They may be reaching out to tell you you have a child with them. They may be reaching out because they are in AA and it's one of the steps to apologize to people they have wronged. Talking to a past lover isn't cheating and saying hello doesn't mean they want you back.
