My fiance is on a diet and has been asking me to not eat sweets infront of him.
Today I had a feeling for something sweet. I ate several small ice lollies ( pls don’t judge). I had the last one of the packet in my hand when my fiance returned from work early.
He snatched it out my hand, telling me he’s had a stressful day and needs it and began to eat it.
I feel really offended that he did that. Am I overreacting here?

Yes it's rude to snatch food from others. Just like I would get jailed if I stole a chicken nugget from a stranger at a burger joint. The fact you are dating does to give him the right to steal your food.
Girl that is NOT cool! He had no right to snatch food straight out your hand like you're a child or something!
That's mad disrespectful. Just because he's on a diet doesn't mean you gotta deprive yourself too. And stressful day or not, he shouldn't be taking it out on you by stealing your treats.
I'd be pissed! He owes you a big apology. Like he better grab you another whole bag of those lollies to make up for it, sis. Don't let him brush it off as no big deal neither.
Stand your ground and let him know that was straight up rude. If he wants support with his diet, he needs to communicate like an adult instead of acting on impulse.
You were just chilling minding your business - don't feel bad enjoying yourself. Keep that man in check girl, you deserve better than how he's been acting!
He has an addiction and you were using in front of him. Being addicted to sweets/food can be just as severe as a drug addiction.
