It depends how much time the family is getting. His worst nightmare was getting with another girl who tried to take him away from family. All he wanted was 1 day a week with them and not even every day. Thats more than reasonable. I def like to be around my fam at least one good day a week. But we both also look forward to moving to states where our fams are not present. So it won’t even be monthly that we see them and we’re okay with that too. I wouldn't want to be with someone who wanted to spend every day with their family (unless its the family we created)

Yeah, I agree with you 100%. But they should make enough time for their partner as well and not just assume they'll cheat (just know that it's a possibility).

But if she's just getting mad that he's not spending 24/7 with her then she's just dumb.

Everything changes after marriage, if you marry someone it should be because you trust them enough to make that step, and your spouse becomes your immediate family.

Everyone wants to feel valued and important in a relationship, and part of that value comes from a partner actually wanting to spend quality time with you on a reasonable basis. If at every opportunity, your partner is off with their family, even forsaking plans you two have already agreed to, then absolutely a girl has a right to be upset. Ones family will ALWAYS be one of the most important things in ones life, but once you are in a relationship that's lasted longer than a minute, that person needs to realize that priorities with their time need to shift.
