no, I'm pretty good as I work to get along with others and I'm helpful, tolerant. I don't like to sit around and do nothing.

I know some people that are very difficult... and I know why... they were terribly abused as children.

I have my flaws, everyone does.

I spent a lot of time working on myself and continually do... I was screwed up and would have been a terrible partner until I learned more. I'm always learning. Being flexible is important. It's important to be opening to change, otherwise, you stay the same and just keep repeating the patterns programmed into you.

Your training is screwed up and you haven't spent time working on yourself, reflecting. You were handed some things you never asked for and now have to deal with them.

If you don't want to deal with others then find some other way of living life that has meaning to you. Not everything is having a partner...

The pope is doing a good job and he doesn't have a wife... etc etc..

I try to practice the Golden Rule every day. That means I try to be the best partner I can be for my wife, because I am hoping she will make the same effort for me. . . and she does. That, alone, is about 75% of what is required to be a good partner.

I don't think so. In a relationship I'm quite serious and find myself to be quite doting. Many of my friends' girlfriends like me because I say their men (my friends) should treat them more. A particular conversation sticks out in my mind. My friend and his girlfriend were arguing about how frequently he takes her out. She was arguing for twice a month and he was arguing for once a month. I said they should go out once a week, either to dinner, or some sort of event. Ie, there's a place near me that does line dancing classes once a week and I recommended they do that (which was free other than drinks) and dinner. She said it was a great idea. My buddy stared death at me for an hour straight.

I think in an ideal world I would've been a pretty decent to half decent boyfriend for the right woman I would've liked in my daydreams with the qualities that obviously I didn't come across in my 20s as im now 30s - shrug - on the plus side I've enjoyed looking back lately and even now how I spend more time with family and friends, rather than wasting it on a woman/women who may just dump me anyhow 🥳👀

Absolutely. With all of the resentment and baggage I have towards women I'll never have a healthy relationship. But that's fine. Gives me more time to focus my attention on myself and the books I'm writing
