So yeah, I know it sounds bad, but it’s the truth. One is someone I’ve shared a deep past with we’ve been through so much and there’s still something there. The other is my current partner, someone who’s been supportive and kind, but we’re now facing a long-distance situation that’s putting a lot of pressure on us. I love them both in different ways, and I’m torn between what feels familiar and what feels safe. How do I make the right decision without hurting anyone?
382 opinions shared on Relationships topic. You can’t
Whichever one you chose will hurt the other
In terms of “fairness” your ex shouldn’t get priority over your current partner
That’s called cheating
But then again “all’s fair in love and war”
If you can’t picture life without the ex and he feels the same then maybe it’s meant to be
Just be willing to accept that the price to pay is breaking the heart of a guy who’s only guilty of caring about you and yes that makes you a shitty person. Still a valid option
————————————————————————
Story example:
My ex broke up with me because she couldn’t get over her then ex (ironically she didn’t go back to him despite that)
And I harbor no ill feelings towards her
But he chose valentine’s day to go visit her mom and “give back some of her stuff” like a good little angel and that got in her (admittedly small) head
So if I ever meet him in person he’s getting punched out and he won’t know why a random guy just assaulted him.
Be she’s happier without either of us now and I’m glad for her10 Reply

And we don't know them.
So You're the only person that can actually figure that out because you The only person that knows of them10 Reply

1 yThis is a tough one because while I feel you shouldn't move backwards, I've also been in a long distance relationship and wouldn't recommend that for anyone unless its less than 2 hours away. I feel you should go with the one that you could see yourself growing old with. If it's both, then choose the one that really lights up your world. Really think about it. Maybe make a pros and cons list for both and narrow it down that way. Ultimately go with your heart and gut. Your gut feeling rarely leads you wrong.

Balancing the heart's wild ride, huh? Let's spice this up, darling! 💃 Your heart's in a tango, and every step counts. Familiarity brings comfort, but don’t let nostalgia blind judgment. The long-distance heartthrob might spice life up with trust and spark, so consider whose love aligns with your future dreams. Prioritize what makes your heart dance and sparks joy, even if it means a little temporary heartbreak. Love is a wild adventure—make sure you're driving, not just a passenger! 🕺 Good luck with your love journey!

Brad I suspect you read my prior answers and regurgitated it in your brilliant prose.

@lightbulb27 this is a lot of unnecessary words, but I think if you read it carefully it’s saying she should stick with her current partner even if they are long distance for now.

@WhitneySnow yes, and I don't agree with Brad, he's suck a sucker for romance. But he sure gives off a lot of heat, his cpu's a cookin'...
@WhitneySnow this AI is configured in the worst possible way, it is as usual clearly not picking either. It's like saying "fish enjoy swimming and birds enjoy flying, both are aweseome."

@Entertained_Adult actually, I usually agree with you, but this time it did pick one. It prefers the current partner. (I agree.) It just says it in a really long roundabout way so you have to read really carefully to figure out what it’s actually saying.

1 yI assume they are aware of each other, so sit down and have a heart-to-heart talk with each, letting them know your feelings. Maybe you don't need to choose one over the other?
10 Reply 4.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Pick The one that came second, is the one you should pick , because of you truly loved and cared about the first one? the second one wouldn’t even be in the picture at all.

1 yThere is NO WAY that nobody gets hurt here. Equally there is no guidance anyone here could offer based purely on what you have shared.
Either way you may wonder what may have been with the other and sharing what you feel may mean you get neither.
So follow your heart20 Reply The past leaves a mark, but don’t ignore the one who stands by you now, even from afar. Distance is hard, but loyalty and effort say a lot. The right person is the one with whom you feel most like yourself comfort and honesty matter more than nostalgia.

1 yDo these two guys know about each other?
Honestly, if you think you're in love with two guys, you're probably not in love with either of them.
Maybe it would be better if you were single for a while, so you could decide what's actually important to you.

Precisely, it is just attraction.

1 yYour situation is totally normal. It's very possible to be in love with more than one person at the same time. I'd bet most of us have been there.
So, stage a threesome and have them compete for you. You'll have a great time.

Yeah, two guys sucking each other off in front of a girl.
Totally normal for you. - 1 y
@Douglas1180,
Interesting where the MAGA mind goes every time. Let's talk about your sexual fantasies manifesting in every post.
1 yMake them compete in an obstacle course for you're love. It's up to them to prove their love.
Ideas for obstacles:
Start out in a quick sand box where they have to get through to the other side to then have to climb a tree where a rope will swing them across a river to a field where they have to Dodge blow darts through a 50 yard dash
00 ReplyI don't know what to tell you so you won't hurt anyone, but I know who you should choose. The one you feel safe with, the one now, because he's there now the other was in your past for a reason, don't ruin something potentially good for something you are familiar but hey it's your life, what do I know.
00 ReplyGo with the 2nd one because you wouldn't have fell for him if you lived the first or ever better yet dump both and start over. There's no way to fallback plan here 😂

1 yThis is why when you stop dating someone you have to make a clean break. How can you open a new chapter in your life when you haven't closed the last chapter in your life. And if you love both of these men that means your having sex with both of these men. You have to decide and decide fast or your gonna be on paternity court trying to figure out who your baby daddy is. The sad thing is one of these guys is gonna get hurt and it's your fault

1 yUmmm... can you keep both? I mean with full transparency between all three parties, not cheating. Love is abundant.
01 Reply- 1 y
People do that. I have done that. It's not easy to manage as the hinge of a three person relationship, but what that is worthwhile is easy? It can work well.
