My boyfriend (36) and I (33) have a rocky relationship. To make things worse, I found out he’s been avoiding telling me that he does nicotine. When I asked him he said he didn’t want to tell me because of how I would react. He said he would stop in a week and he hasn’t. I asked him why and he said because he said it helps him cope with the stress of our relationship. Then, the month I found out that he’s been was paying his mom $800 in rent, when he told me last year that he was paying $400. He also avoided telling me that before we met, he wanted to be with a female friend from his high school friend group. I found out a year into our relationship. Am I wrong for feeling like I cannot trust this guy? He thinks he’s justified for not telling me because of my negative reactions but it shouldn’t be like that
