How do you add value to the life of your partner, husband or wife?

The biggest value a person can bring to a relationship…. Is themselves. Is being present being there for someone physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and in every other way.

You add value to someone’s life by being someone that loves their soul. Loving the version of themselves that they don’t show the world being vulnerable isn’t just showing emotion or crying (though that’s part of it) it’s being able to be your true genuine authentic self around someone else.

You become a very miserable person if you have no safe place to go. You’re supposed to be one another’s person behind closed doors and see that side of one another you don’t show the world. If you can’t show your true self inside your own home… That’s bad.

But it is also emotional caring and nurturing. It’s being one another’s best friend

Yeah, people who just want relationships for superficial and materialistic reasons (and you know who they are based off who will argue with me) they are rarely happy long term and rarely loyal. They tend to be miserable even when things seem good. Because they don’t have genuine connections. They just take someone else and make them as miserable as they are because misery loves company.

On the mechanical side I'm good at problem analysis and good with tools and therefore can repair. IT support cause that is my trade. I'm good at getting reductions on car insurance - I'll s[pend an entire weekend at reverse engineering an insurers pricing algorithm to find the sweet spot.

I think creating a peaceful, calm pleasant environment is one of the best things you can do and hopefully your partner mirrors that.

Despite everything, girls still say they want to feel protected by their man. Protection is more than physical threats in the street. Despite everything, lots of girls don't want to do aggressive stuff that is occasionally necessary. They like to see you dealing with external world competently and capability on their behalf. They like getting leadership even though they might say "You can't tell me what to do".

The desire for protection runs deep in the female mind and demonstrating they can trust you goes a long way.

Yes, I've always believed in leaving someone better than they were when I found them. But oftentimes it's a quality they use me for and then take for granted, which leaves me feeling drained. I've recently stopped giving unconditionally, following guidelines for caution that my spiritual advisor and close friends have uniformly recommended.

She does most of the cooking and cleaning. She works a lot in the garden, growing, planting and caring for veggies and harvesting fruit. She works in town 4 days a week, so she does all the shopping.

I empty the trash cans in the house and take out the trash.
I do most of the dishes and empty out the dish washer.
I wash, dry and fold all the towels and laundry except for her clothes because she prefers to do hers herself.
I help a lot in the garden.
I'm good at doing repairs.
