Why is it that I'm the loyal one that'll stick by the people I love and care about even in their worst of times, but they always run away?

Yeah! My finance broke up with me 4 weeks ago saying she's not good enough for me! And, THAT'S a MASSIVE load of bullshit, right there!!! I'VE NEVER HAD a better woman in my life!!! And, apparently, she's got some other issues she needs to deal with but, rather than discuss this stuff with me and maybe we can find some answers together and, okay, MAYBE I CAN'T fix it but, I can at LEAST support her in her time of need or despair but she thinks it's best to hide whatever it is from me and then run away and face it all by herself!! I'm dealing with a couple things, here, too but, you don't see ME running off like a scared rabbit! I'll try to deal with it the best I can and if things get a bit worse and I need to discuss it with someone, I'd turn to her first because we're SUPPOSED to be a couple and couples help each other as much as possible!! Well, they're SUPPOSED to!!
I COMPLETELY understand wanting to try to solve things yourself, first, if for no other reason than to keep from worrying your other half but, running away and avoiding the potential help you've got instant access to ISN'T gonna help solve the problem!!
When dad died of cancer, I had NO CLUE that there were actually cures out there until I lost him and then, the idea of looking for possible cures online popped into my head (a few months too late, though but still, it did!!) and, when mom got cancer a decade later, I WAS able to cure her!! And I was able to help Lynn, too! I DO have a pretty good brain in my head!!! I'm NOT just another pretty face!!! If I don't immediately KNOW an answer, I can at least eventually try to find or come up with one!! But, I can't find answers for problems that I don't know exist!!!
140 years ago, did we know how to fly? FUCK NO!! But, we found a way to make it happen!! Did we know how to build a cell phone 100 years ago? NO!! But, we DID have the tech to make it happen!! We just didn't know it back then!! We HAD TO LOOK FOR IT!!! And, WE FOUND IT!!!

I remember my brother coming to me with a few problems he was having several years before he killed himself and I told him, there's ALWAYS a solution!! You just have to find it!!! If you give up or refuse to ask for help from others to find it, you may never find it!!

You are correct! Did I tell you I found out about a month ago that Lynn found that lump on her breast and said nothing to nobody. Not until it ruptured a couple years later. Is that some FUCKED UP shit or what?

Yeah, it was!! I don't understand why EVERYTHING with girls HAS to be this BIG, DEEP, DARK SECRET!!! You ask them and ask them and they REFUSE to spill!!! Then, they come up with that fucking STUPID line, "If you don't know, I'm NOT going to tell you!!"" HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW? I'M NOT A MIND READER!!!
Even mom was the same way!! She suspected she had breast cancer and was just about to ask a Dr. about it when she had a stroke!! The guy that dealt with her stroke told her that she DOES have cancer in her left armpit and that he could get rid of it for her right then and there but, she'd lose the use of her left arm for a short while, too (the stroke took her right arm!) so, she told him to leave it, for now, until her right arm gets better and don't tell any of us kids about it! 3 years later, she was LOADED with cancer!!! Had I known when she first found out, I COULD'VE cured it then and there!! She MIGHT STILL be alive to enjoy her 92nd b-day this coming Thu.!!

  I can't put that blame on her. Neither of us has the money, at the moment, to make the trip and she's VERY busy with renovations to her house. The plan was, once she's done with that, she'll start saving up money to come over and I'll do what I can to help her with that. What hurts most is her breaking up with me over such a small (as far as I can see) thing! When she was still with me, I felt I could conquer the world!!! Sure, it might've taken a while and some string pulling but, I felt I COULD do it!! Now, my heart's just not in it anymore and I don't even have the gumption to do much of ANYTHING, anymore!! Without her as my goal to accomplish anything, I have no reason to bother, anymore!! I no longer live! I merely exist!!
