3 couples, 2 beds in a hotel room, is it rude to ask tovshare a bed with someone Im newly seeing?

I will be sharing a hotel room with a couple friends. 2 are dating, 2 are not hooking up but flirty, and then there is me and a guy Im seeing/hooking up with but this is the first time my friends are meeting him. The girl who is in the flirty fling originally planned this trip, however, Im upfronting for the hotel room initially. Is it rude to ask to sleep in one of the two beds there? The third couple would probably be using sleeping bags.

No everyone is in their 20's but what does it matter if everyone is in their 20's or 30's?
