I think you should educate yourself on religion (As many as you can)
Its really interesting to learn about all the different beliefs people, and your missing out if you dont learn about them
Im not even saying believe them either, just read up on a bunch! It gives you more insight on people and is just generally interesting.

I'm a science student, I go to many churches, anyone who does not like Darwin or Allred Russell Wallace, because they read the Bible is very silly. Keep reading your science text books and believe what ever you want.

i dont think it has to do with religions, people are mostly assholes, who hate other people based off their religion or sexuality, etc.
The theists who lie will have no interest in your point of view or your protestations of goodness. Because that would imply they are wrong.
And the decent theists? They already knew this.

Not for very much longer. Religious faith is in steep decline. The millennials are the least religious generation, and it is likely that the next cohort will be even less religious. We're going to see a lot of churches transformed into restaurants and bars.
Well there's still ways for you to go, but at least it's going to the right direction. In Finland we're really in the situation where the future of the church is a huge question mark.

Good for you. Being atheist is pretty much the norm here, they are generally not seen as odd. Don't know if that is different elsewhere though
Being an atheist is also the norm in my country and my neighbor countries in Scandinavia.

In the bible belt many are Christians.
Pretty much the norm in the US in the high-tech industry and among the creative elite. The most prosperous areas of the country (the Pacific coast and the northeast) are the least religious. The poorest states are the most religious.
Personally, I am anti-theist. Religion needs to be Stamped Out entirely.
I am an atheist because neither religion makes sense to me.
But you will never make sense of your life without faith.
