Many people think that Islam is the religion of violence and murder. All we see on the Internet are lies they try to distort the image of this religion with terrorism and violence. But if you deepen the more you will find it the religion of peace, mercy and tolerance. Please give me your opinion about this Religion.

I think what's happening (not saying it's right and these people are bad people who are doing it) need something to fear and hate and fear and hate moves people to stupid action. There are more fear of war even though the world is more peaceful now compared to the number of war casualties. So if they are afraid of something that's more fringe outcasts it spills over to good people.

Because Islam has been at war with Europe for a Millenia.
In almost all Islamic countries women don't have some basic rights.
In addition, when Muslims start to grow into a majority they tend to try to Islamify the laws to fit their preference.
In many Islamic countries other religious minorities are oppressed and gays killed.

What terrorists do is what the Quran says to do — kill the Kaffirs. That's why terrorism can be foreign or homegrown , wherever there are sizeable groups of Muslims there is terrorism.

Japan has just a few thousand Muslims, when was the last Terrorist attack there? 1985?

And England? What about France? or Russia?

Or Poland with 20,000 Muslims.
When was the last attack in Poland?

Because the media overwhelmingly shows the extremists of the religion, and then a lot of us begin to think that that extremism is what it's all about.

But of course, it isn't. Extremism in any form is bad. My city is full of Muslims (namely Somalia) and they are a happy, healthy and hardworking bunch.

I have friends who are Muslim, and they are lovely! But I think it's because of ISIS, which I understand isn't an accurate representation of all Muslims, but that's probably the reason it's associated with violence. However, I also know some Muslims who are quite strongly committed to the religion, and want to convert everyone to become Muslims. Maybe that happens in other religions (though I have not experienced it) but that personally scares me.

I'm hard-core Christian who believes Jesus was the Messiah promised by Jehovah (or Allah in your case), but it doesn't mean I hate it. I just don't necessarily agree, but that's okay! My childhood passed in a islamic country. And i did read Quran 4-5 times. But, this doesn't change anything, i still don't like Islam. I know muslims doesn't have intends as war, killing people. I don't like Islam because, for Quran, homosexual people are cursed. Dispite that, most of the muslims doesn't even know meaning of calling to prayer and Quran. All of them are not the same, i know. But most of them are. And there are some people that they're only muslims because their parents are.

Mostly because unless you're a Muslim, people know very little about it. Fundamental Islam is what's normally spoken about, written about in MSM, and MSM has agendas, the truth is of no importance.
