Yes, of course. We're all sinners. We all need to work hard daily to turn away from our sins. Homosexuality is not the only sin listed in the bible.
They can with the understanding that they have the genuine desire to “transition” back to “normalcy” and thus be “saved”, but they cannot truly remain a part of both communities without eventually being “banned” by one of them.

I think Christian is ok, they just say the Bible said being gay/lgbt is a sin when it didn't. Muslims are even more strict and I think they don't even allow it. But of course you can be who you want to be, and I feel sorry for all the lgbtq+ people in these religions who have to deal with their identity being called a sin.
They can, but it's extremely hypocritical to those ideologies, based on what they actually say about being gay or "unnatural" (trans).
The bible says , it is an abomination unto God and it also says be fruitful and multiply and gays can't. So, any practicing homosexual will go to hell when they die. No ifs ands or buts.

@sean1234 There is one difference, we were cleansed by His blood and our sins are thrown away as far as the east is from the west and He will remember them no more. God is not mocked and knows your heart. If you confess your sins and do not change in your heart and continue to do the things that separate you from God then your confession is false and you are still in your sins. Christains are not perfect as we all sin every day, we are just forgiven.

@sean1234 It does you no good to quote the bible and then disobey the bible. When you are forgiven it is expected that you stop doing what you were forgiven for doing. So, if a homosexual stops giving sex with other men he can be forgiven and go to heaven. Knowing bible verses will get you no where unless you live them. There will millions of preachers , many you see on TV go to hell as workers of inequity. They use God and the bible verses to obtain wealth.

Of course, most religions don't actually go against being LGBTQ. It's just some people who misinterpret the religion that hate on LGBTQ members. I've got a friend who's gender fluid/bisexual and also practices Christianity.

Depends what you mean by "part of LGBT". Christianity says that just having homosexual thoughts is not a sin, only homosexual sex is. So if you live like this - yes, it is possible to be religious as well.
