Do religious people think animals have zero inteligence difference between each other?

How can you think a chimp has same inteligince as a cow because both are animals?

Only humans can think and animals have no brain at all? Some don't accept how clever chimps are. They have, of course, less inteligince than humans but they are more clever than the rest of animals.

My Christian beliefs about animals rely on these verses found in Ecclesiastes 3:

18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.

20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

If you watch an animal for long enough, they all show some level of intelligence and often empathy. Even with like coral reef fish they can hang out and chill with humans and remember them, I think animal intelligence is way understated. Like they’re the direct descendants of ancestors that successfully bread and survived from the last 4 billion years. Like that deer is being a dumb shit, but that’s only because headlights are 200 years old and deer have existed for waaaaay longer than even humans have, so it’s like, cut them a break ya know?

I have no idea. I do know that a raccoon in my yard knows I put out dry dog food for it and birds. On more than one occasion, it has stood on my back landing and tapped on the glass if it could see me, asking for food. It knows I am The Food Guy.
