It's seemingly easy to no longer believe in Jesus when you were not taught about God I'm the right way, perhaps by a false Christian preacher. Read the KJV Bible with the eyes of a Child without preconceived ideas.03 Reply- 1 y
Okay yeah so when someone rapes your daughter how much will you sell them for to their rapist before they are wed, also. What day should we stone the people who work on the sabbath or is it okay since they prepare your meal for you after church. by the way a lot of clothing are of mixed fabrics should they also be killed. by the way the kjv means King James Version meaning king James red the Bible and said take this out, add this part here is it a sin to tamper with your gods scripture? And if so where is the original version that wasn’t tampered with by man? I was brought up in multiple churches, I’ve read the kjv the niv, and another version that is escaping me and they all have the same message with no honor or respect twords man kind. Now I don’t expect Christian’s or any other religion to agree with me but you are not the people I’m looking for your just some internet warrior policing the religious section for anything non Christian

#1 If God himself tells someone to do something you do it
#2 breaking the 4th commandment really is that serious of a crime, the difference is that God will do the judging himself in the future, it's called the 2nd death.
#3 mixed fabrics? I learned that, then threw them all out AND no executions. Don't mock God's word.
#4 The King James Version is the most accurate bible in the English language. The Geneva is good also, a bit harder to read and their little Bible explanations can be far off at times. Satan loves screwing with the Bible so naturally people have to change it back to normal.
Lastly sir like I said, don't mock God, you practically have both feet in Hell so to speak. There are only 2 religions on this earth, one is of God all the rest Satan. - 1 y
I don’t believe in your god nor your devil and the threat of your hell is nothing to me. Also it literally says many times in the Bible about killing people for their crimes or sins or more accurately execution of that person. You’re a Christian extremist and your opinions aren’t welcome here

Math. There aren't many Norse pagans period, and given the size of the world, the odds of any being local to you aren't great.

Pagan is a form of Satanism it was influenced by the Pharisees that tried to displace the White Race thousand of years ago.
05 Reply- 1 y
Satanism is more moral than Christianity simply put Christianity is an oppressive religion that’s racist masagionistic, and homophobic it was Paganaism is a religion for all regardless of these things and I’m thankful to newer day Christian’s who are taking Christianity into their own hands and shaping your god into an actual loving god and not a being who is for only straight white people. Also Jesus was not white. He was middle eastern the depiction commonly used of white Jesus is the son of a pope who did truly awful things and to have him remembered as a good guy his image was put in place as representation of Jesus
Shalom Brody, how was Shabbos?
- 1 y
So am I to assume you are Jewish and not Protestant?
- 1 y
God does love, it's why he gives his warnings like in Leviticus against homosexuality for all those to simply repents they can make it to heaven instead of burning in tge 2nd death. As for masagionists and or racist? Everyone has their roles and as for racism, God created Adam and Eve, there is only one race.
2.2K opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. Because Norse paganism isn't exactly going gangbusters at the moment. It has been in decline for centuries.
Why would you believe in such stupid bullshit anyway? Jesus fuck.011 Reply- 1 y
On the contrary paganism itself is on the rise and if I had to guess you’re atheist
- 1 y
I seriously doubt it is very much on the rise in a place like Tennessee though. I'm aware that with the decline of Christianity in the west, more people are turning to paganism and pseudoscience in order to satisfy their delusions, but Tennessee has been a well and truly a right wing, Christian fundamentalist crackpot ravine for 20 years now. They're going to vote to allow clergy to hold public office!
And yes, of course I'm an atheist. It is the only rational position to hold in regard to the fantastical claims of religion. - 1 y
By your demeanor your either recent atheist or just an honest asshole and I’m aware of most of what you say and I’m not gonna argue with you. However this wasn’t an attack on anyone or a reason to push my religion on people simply me looking for people with similar beliefs. And to maybe remove any stigmas placed on paganism by Christian’s I was raised Christian, became atheist and decided I agreed more with paganistic beliefs simple as that we don’t have to agree but respect is still something that should be given. Until proven undeserving or have you only assumed everyone with a different belief is Beneath you?
- 1 y
Then that’s where our though processing is different would the world be better where atheism maybe but for who? There will never be a perfect utopia everyone is allowed to believe as they want if it doesn’t affect others then they should be allowed to live their own lives however they want and if they wish to force their beliefs or a lack of they deserve nothing. But you’re right giving ridicule is also necessary. Because it gives light to what others think. So I’m curious is your point to give ridicule just to be a dick or do you have a valid point to it?
- 1 y
"would the world be better where atheism maybe but for who?"
You're going to have to rephrase that because it doesn't make sense. Do you mean would the world be better if everyone was an atheist? If that is what you mean, the answer is that it depends on what the prominent ideological goals of the society are and how they are striven for. I can be sure of one thing in this regard and that is that if the world took science as seriously as religion and spent their time discussing and implementing strategies to tackle climate change and create comfortable, sustainable lifestyles using actual evidence instead of praying to fictional beings to solve all their problems, we would be better off or at least be much wiser for having tried.
"So I’m curious is your point to give ridicule just to be a dick or do you have a valid point to it?"
The point of ridiculing one's beliefs is not a personal attack, it is a form altruism. Correcting misinformation helps people to make better decisions and prevents them from spreading falsehoods which may adversely affect the lives of others, and this has proven to be the case where religion is concerned. As Steven Weinberg said: With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil - that takes religion". - 1 y
My apologies for the bad grammar however you still understood my meaning and my point with that was that maybe in your eyes it would be better as an atheistic society. Where I agree religion and science should be kept separate I believe everyone should be allowed to have faith in what they want. And for me paganism has a large amount of historical traditions and beliefs that are far more vast then that of an abrahamic religion but we aren’t out to turn everyone pagan we aren’t out to convert people. And that was one quote I always enjoyed by Steven Weinberg. I see what you think you’re doing but you know so little about me that I can’t help but feel it as a personal attack I enjoy a debate but I’m the end I know that we can only agree to disagree and live out ever so short lives to the fullest. There is nothing wrong with me wanting to connect with people of similar faith or to want to carry on some of the traditions held by the Nordic people in that time such as the holidays or the beliefs in honor, courage, being honest when you fuck up and make a mistake (ironic I know because you believe the mistake I’m making is believing in gods) being loyal stuff of that nature and when it comes to science I don’t want my religion thrown into it I want science to grow and expand on it’s own so that life can continue to improve for the future generations. But holding a belief is my own choice as it is of many others.
- 1 y
You’re right I can be but it’s what I chose it’s what inspires me I don’t need religion to be a good person nor would I commit terrible acts in the name of religion, it’s simply my choice to believe in it. And follow some of the traditions.
- 1 y
lol be happy that you don't live in germany. here, norse paganism is closely associated with being a nazi.
08 Reply- 1 y
Why? Because of the symbol that was originally peaceful but used for terrible acts?
- 1 y
because norse pagans (at least here) are very often also white supremacists that share the nazi ideas when it comes to racial "hygiene".
- 1 y
Ah yeah the rest of the norse pagan community reject them as norse pagan and simply label them as that, white supremacists.
- 1 y
yeah in todays society it's very hard to not be lumped in with nazis. specially in germany if you're sort of conservative or even just centrist. it even goes so far as that if you protest for the "wrong things", you're seen as nazi. the media will even litterally put 3-4 nazis in front of their cameras in huge protests and then calim "it was a nazi uprising", making everyone in tv and newspapers believe it was actually a nazi protest. that's how politics fights opposition these days.
- 1 y
Always something corrupt out there
- 1 y
yeah... but on such a large scale and in a western first world country, you wouldn't think this shit exists.
but well i think norse mythology is quite cool. i read some of the edda :D - 1 y
Well hell yeah I appreciate that you enjoy it I feel anyone should be able to believe as they’d like
- 1 y
Well i think that as with the bible actually those religions actually describe how the cosmos works quite actually wrong. So i wouldn't ever "believe" it. But it is interesting to learn how people thought in ancient times.
- 1 y
Nice! I've never met a norse pagan before.

Norse paganism is in itself a religion that focuses on the norse pantheon. To be honest there are many interpretations on how one can practice and show their beliefs but it’s best to understand the norse gods are not like the Christian god they don’t claim to be perfect, they aren’t omnipotent or omnipresent they make mistakes. In the end it’s about honoring them as well as your ancestor’s it’s a religion based on gathering knowledge and making your own conclusions. Not everyone’s focus on this faith will be the same but we have basic understandings and we learn from many sources.
- 1 y
Ohhh… Man, who has Being thereby possesses Soul, Mind, and Body. Man withBeing is to worship the Creaturely that is less than Man…And worship that Less than Man, creature as god.
If I am the highest form of creation…why would I worship Something that is more fallible than I am. Your faith is nonsensical at the most fundamental levels… - 1 y
If I did it injustice by trying to explain it in a way you can understand I’m still new to giving more of a explanation and a more veteran pagan could probably explain it better also is that a quote from the Bible or Quran? Either way Abrahamic religion is slowly dying off due to its hate filled messages but it’s fine there are also people within them reforming them just as they reformed every other religion before burying them or killing their followers in the name of gods love.
